I'm sorry to say that I too have never been in love with someone. I once believed I was (for a very short time), but I guess that was more about 'being in love with the idea of being in love' than anything else...

I was in love.... every time I saw him my heart jumped in my chest.

It would stop, jump, then pound! I would think: Is that him?!

If it was I knew I would smile... I would smile at the very thought of him... I was 16.... at 41 I STILL smile at the thought of him. He was so damned fine.

Now that I am older I have a different guy I like and care for deeply... but my heart doesn't pound in my chest when I see him... it never did after the first guy broke it.

But funny thing, he told me he was scared because his heart pounds in his chest when ever he sees me, and that he is in love with me.

I guess timing can be a bitch with this sort of thing.

my heart fell so hard for someone before and he left me for someone else when he said goodbye in his poem and l cried so much over this tryin to get over it thinking why

I was young I was in love like this... he didn't feel that way about me.

Now I am older and the current guy feels this way about me... but I do not. Still dig him though.

Being in love with someone can be the most heartbreaking, emotionally destructive force like ever.

What do you do when you love someone and can't possibly ever be with that person ?

Not for me. Without love in my life I would have been better off. All the wonderful years with the person you love with all your heart are not worth the pain you go through when it ends.

Good for you, except for the spiders part of course...you'd be better of if you'd not mind them .

For me there's nothing worse than losing somebody you love, to not go through that pain I'd prefer to have been without love all my life.
