What I actually WANTED to point out to you guys was the *ADVENTURE* games, not Super Mario and whatever. The point-and-click stuff. I LOVE some of those games, and they're completely gone today, so Abandonia is the only way I have of getting to play some of them. Just to point out one in particular, try the Willy Beamish game, which is actually NOT for kids, but has quite a bit of adult content as well.

WHY did these games disappear??!!! I HATE the shooters of today sad

I have been keeping a few old consoles around but I went through most of the winter this year without playing them majorly.

I realize now the display on the original Game Boy really... sucks! I love the sound on it though. But I can't play those anymore.

My parents had home computers in the 80s, so I really got into a few DOS and IBM PC platform video games too. I really liked Sierra's games: Police Quest and King's Quest.

The sequels produced in 1992 were good too:

We had some handheld games like this for the family minivan for loooong trips to the USA. They weren't Nintendo Game & Watch though, they were from Radio Shack.
