Anyone Else Watch Community?

I saw parts here and there of the show and today i watched half the first season.

The show is really funny! and i love watching the characters interact it reallymakes every episode watchable and the replay value very high.

Who else watches the show?

I've watched every episode.

For my money, the first season was absolute genius, and so was the second season. But some time after that, they made some choices that, to me, took the humor away. Specifically:

1. I don't care about Winger's dad

2. Just because Chevy Chase is apparently a dick in real life, that was no reason to ruin his character

3. The Troy/Abed relationship is just plain weird. Abed went from being an artistic savant, with a future in making movies, to a bizarre robot that I just cannot relate to. Did you see the episode in the first season, where Abed confronted his dad over his career choice? THAT was Abed.

Now, Troy. WTF? The character went from being a sure-fire NFL player until he blew up his knee, to a regressed five-year-old whose reminds us most of the Lamar Latrell character in "Revenge of the Nerds".

Troy and Abed are allegedly not having a gay relationship, but you'd not know it if you hadn't seen the first two seasons. It's like the writers thought, "We're going there. We're going to portray two guys in a relationship!" And then when it came time to put the pencil to paper, they couldn't quite bring themselves to do it.

This series made the same error in judgment that so many before it did - it went from being a show designed to make us laugh, to a show that wants to display its "emotional quality".

Screw that! I want to laugh!

This season, they seem to have come just a little back to sanity. The past week's episode, where the gang "warred" with the Germans, was pretty good. So hope is still alive!

If you haven't seen it yet, the episode in either Season 1 or 2 where they have the first paintball fight is one of the best episodes of any show that I've ever seen. I literally DIED laughing!

Definitely buy/watch seasons 1 and 2. They are comedic gold. The rest? Take your chances. I was not impressed but on the other hand, RenHoek thinks the following seasons are even funnier than the first two.

I still enjoy it, but nowhere near as much as I used to. It was such a genius show. I agree with most of what Rodeo said above.

I saw him stuffing my man full of chicken! and there are lots of Tyler Perry movies on why that is wrong!

You know i didn't really think of Troy & Abed as a couple...

But i am on season 2 and i could see that it was kind of going there hmmm Rodeo was pretty right on that front.

I think they would be cute lol but i mean the stuff they do is more than bromance confused

Shirley, Jeff, Anna & Brita are all great... but the most suprisd i am is that i really like Pierce.

After hearing Chevy and his poor attitudes towards the show and sitcoms in general i was skeptical... but he is pretty funny on the show.

I was mainly digging what they were doing this season, but then last week they ruined it with an entire episode dedicated to Winger's dad.

Ugh. I think all these characters need to graduate, and quickly. They're too old to be funny college characters any more.

I haven't seen much of the new season yet sad

I heard mixed reviews on last weeks episode so sounds about right.

I did see the first episode of season 4 thought it was pretty funny though.

I'm kind of take it or leave it. Plus, it's destined to be cancelled it's ratings are poor and Chevy quit the show mid season. Besides they only brought the show back this year so they can syndicate the show (4 years requirement to do that.).

Side bar:I remember the lead actor when he acted up here in Seattle.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
