Pretty soon coming up I will be in Istanbul for 2 days (or more like 36 hours), Old Dude has a last minute job there and I will meet him, and I'm praying that the winter weather will be milder than here. Winter and its' crappy temperatures is dragging on here and the new snows (that somehow we never had for all of winter until now mad )...well, they're making me nuts. dead

I think I'm just about to buy my Seattle ticket.

Been watching the fares on the qantas site, and it's gone down $100 since yesterday, and if I use my frequent flyer points I can get another $200 off

excited OMG OMG OMG

boxed No kids, just a couple friends... I plan to be the creepy adult lined up for a hug with Mickey Mouse.

So far all we have are plane tickets and a hotel reservations, so I guess at this point it's just a trip to Orlando confused

If you will, so will I

Oh, don't worry. There are plenty of adults who are disney addicts that go without kids.

The main place it's creepy to go if you don't bring kids along is a water park. lol

Istanbul is one of my favorite cities.

I really love it.

Hope you enjoy it too!

I really wished I could.

But flight fares + hotel costs are above my budget.

I'm very happy to have arranged myself a few days to London, traveling and bed just for 140 euros!

Not going out of the country this year unless I go to Germany and visit my youngest son. Hopefully that happens. Waiting to see if he gets time off.

But I'm flying to Myrtle Beach the end of this month and going on a long road trip with my niece. She's moving near Palm Springs, CA and we're driving. She flew the kids out already. So we are driving up through Chicago to visit my children and then wherever the road takes us until we get to Seattle and then down to Cali. We won't be in a hurry so I see lots of little adventures on the way. wink cool

Our first plan was to drive to New Orleans and stop. I've never been there and so wanted to stay a few days. Then to Austin TX and spend the night with my good friend Megs. Then go to Roswell, NM and mess around for a day or two. Then to Phoenix and stay with friends and visit the Grand Canyon. But she hasn't seen her cousins and grandfather in 10 years so up to Chicago it is. neutral confused

Too bad we don't have bullet-proof glass in the car. boxed

I guess we'll go to Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore. And she wants to see WA...specifically Forks and La Push (which btw is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been). I'm also going back there to the Quileute reservation resort in the summer. That place is amazing!!!

I love road trips!! heart

I'm going back to México, D.F. touched Last time I went was in November, for the MDNA concert; I was still in school, still an intern, had a lot of stuff going on and I went with my mum, my sister and my niece, so they would slow me down most of the time. This time I'm going all by myself, I've already purchased the plane tickets and all.

I'm so excited. oral

I went several years ago with my ex while she had a day off from the business convention she was attending in the area. It was nowhere near as fun as I remembered it being as a kid. lol The next time I was in Orlando, I went to Universal Studios instead.

That's the exact reason I am going there! One of my friends has a boring business meeting to go to, and coaxed a couple of us to go with her under the guise of free tix to the parks. However, now she's not sure just how "free" they will be. neutral

Last time I went to Orlando, I remember Universal Studios being the funnest part, so if we don't get freebie tickets, that's the only one I'd pay for.

Honest answer;

I will be moving to Miami

That is how I travel, i literally move there.

I may move back to New Orleans; I have made friends here but I want to try my hand at Miami.
