I look at what is around me and tie my conversation in with that... always wearing a warm smile.
Colors, scents, tastes and feelings tied into what ever is happening at the moment.
It could be the weather, dining experience, art exhibit, anything.... I just ask " So tell me, what do you think about the ___________"
Beyong the "Hello and whatdoyado?" I just like to listen.... if the person doesn't engage and talk then I say "met too " touch their arm, thank them for their input and walk away. [Edited 3/7/13 3:09am] | |

I normally start off with the weather...something light.
Then I go into movies, music, cars, vacation spots, whatever. I usually can get a conversation going with any of those topics. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
