Bad Christmas Sweaters

Have you got one?

Are you going to, or having a bad sweater party this Christmas?

I'm thinking about getting one from a thrift shop or something to wear to work on 12/12/12. Our doctors are buying us lunch that day and I think it would be a nice way to show my Christmas spirit.

I do have an ugly Christmas sweater. I bought it at K-Mart a few years ago for an ugly sweater party at work. It lives on the top shelf in my closet and I have lent it to family and friends for ugly sweater parties, too - so they don't have to spend money on one. It has a teddy bear on it and is so ugly, I can get hives just thinking about putting it on.

We actually have to be careful about holding ugly Christmas sweater parties at work, though, because there are people in this company who wear stuff like that for real and we wouldn't want to hurt their feelings. lol

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
