The NFL Training Camp/Pre-Season Thread

Well, the long road to the Super Bowl begins again! Here in NYC, everyone's talking about the Jets circus. No drama with my defending champion Giants, and that's how we like it. The big question is will Hakeem Nicks be 100% by opening day?

The Rooneys sent a message to Mike Wallace by signing his teammate

Antonio Brown to an extension. The Steelers way is they don't negotiate

if you don't come to camp. Wallace will either sit out part of the season

or sign that 1 yr tender. I look forward to seeing some of their young guns

contribute this season and the new offense minus Bruce Arians. biggrin

Too late, Brent Celek is hurt and they might go hard for Jeremy Shockey...

It's not a major injury like season ending, but serious enough

Wow how is it Tim Tebow is the most talked about qb in New York

and you have a guy that plays for the other New York team coming

off a Super Bowl victory is the back page story. nuts

We will definitely see what Mark Sanchez is made of because i know

he has to be tired of all the questions and the media circus.

The mighty sports channel owned by the rat company has done nothing but swallow Ney York Jets cum for the past week, if they were spit in the wrong direction someone might catch an STD, its embarassing.

Giants also have questions at running back, receiver & tight end. Who's going to give us what Manningham, Jacobs & Ballard gave us? Boley was huge during the playoff run, but I want more production from the other LBs.

As a Raider fan, here's hoping the new GM and coaching change is worth the effort, nine losing seasons is a shame for any team.

How will Peyton do?

Will the Jets two QB system work?

What can we expect from the Saints?

Will the young Lions take that next step up?

Will Cam Newton suffer the sophmore jinx?

Which rookie QB will have the best season?

How will the Giants do with a brutal schedule?

Will the Cowboys & Chargers put it together?

Can Vick stay healthy an entire season?

It's going to be a wild year!

Terrell Thomas re-injured his ACL.......shit shit shit shit

Speaking of Joe Klecko has anyone heard about Nick Mangold's behemoth sister

Holley who played high school football but now weighlifts.

No they can't. They won't repeat their success of last season. They should make the playoffs though by winning the division.

Sanchez sucks. 'Nuff said. That's why they brought in Tebow. They didn't want to embarass him with someone that would outright take his job.

Yeah I know he finished as the #10 QB last season. He still sucks as a pro QB.

I hope the Wallace thing works out in the end. Dam three good young WR Wallace/Sanders/Brown. Hope the new line will do it's job so Ben is not running for his life again.

Peyton disappoints

Tebow takes over

They won't win their division but will make the playoffs

No.

Probably Luck. Shanahan and Elway anyone?

They won't return to the SB if that's what you're asking. 9-7 and miss the postseason.

Why would they start now?

Yes

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

I agree with most of what you say except - Peyton will have a good season, not a great season. Vick will run and Vick will get hurt.

Sanchez wasn't the only reason the Jets took a step back. The kid did make plays in his first two years when he had a rock-solid o-line and a running attack. Sanchez got beat up last season thanks mainly to Wayne Hunter(who they still haven't replaced). Rex keeps talking ground & pound, but Shonn Greene doesn't impress me at all. And if the Messiah takes over, Jets are sunk. Their main division rivals destroyed Tebow in the playoffs.
