I'm not so different in real life... I don't think so anyway.

One thing I noticed though is that since meeting some orgers, I probably won't talk about certain subjects, because i'm not the anonymous orger I used to be. If that makes sense.

I hold back a lot. I guess because some sarcastic things that I find funny in my head might not seem so funny once I type them.

Many times ppl don't get my sarcastic humour online, relays better in person.

I edit a lot of what I say here anymore so I guess I am different online than in person now, more so than I used to be years ago.

I don't get folks who kinda get bent out of shape because somone has a different point of view. You can make up your mind their this or that because they don't agree with you?

I definitely inserted foot in mouth several times or thought I was making a quip and it was taken the wrong way... just acknowledge and apologize. So, I try to give the benfit of the doubt I hope others woud give me.

nod Agreed. I have apologised on a few times here because I think I came off too harsh and may have rushed to judgement. Either way, written word comes off differently than spoken word, so I am more careful to say what I mean and mean what I say here.

But some have called me some crazy stuff because of my views and experience. Especially in P&R

I am always me. I tend to play the goofball in real world and on-line. Although do to my job, I am unable to be as goofy as I truly can be.

I am sarcastic too-which doesn't come across well on-line and sometimes in real world.

Do you portray yourself honestly on the internet?

Seriously. One of the advantages of the cyberworld is that we can almost recreate ourselves and say/do things we may not in Real Life. For some of us it's an opportunity to let loose and say what's really on our minds. To be completely HONEST. For others, it's a chance to be frealier or nastier than you'd ever really want to be in RL.

Or still yet, for others it may be a chance to create multiple versions of ourselves to play both ends of the field (not saying a thing Dan...not saying a thing...).

But, for the most part, are YOU projecting the REAL YOU online?

I'm guessing you're taller on-line than in real world? giggle

Yes. Absolutely. Unfortunately, I'm not sure people get me a great deal of the time. I'm definitely not the person I get accused of being online in real life. Unfortunately, once people decide something about you they rarely change their minds. So fuck it! Ribbit! lol

I think yes.

I really am the wine swigging Jesus freak that you encounter here on the Org lol . I also have my two sides; one where I'm very sober and measured (particularly in my responses to others), and that other kind of good time gal that likes to laugh and joke around a lot. Oh, and the preoccupation with all things food is definitely a big part of me IRT. The only thing that's different about me here is that while I am real about who I am, I do purposely not share ALL of who I am online. I believe it's necessary to keep some aspects of life sacred and private, and not share them with the world. You gotta know how to keep some things and live in some moments just for yourself. butterfly

I am much nicer in person than I am on here because a lot of people here piss me off. If I want to meet you in real life, I'm usually flirting or gushing over how incredibly wonderful you are.

The people who would know the most are my Europeans, KoolEaze and Tremolina. Even though we are a great distance aprt, they are the orgers I feel the closest to.

That's how it always is. Something about people's personalities on the internet, they automatically think "oh that's how you are..." without really knowing you. lol

Don't know. Maybe.

This place allows me to be nice and terrible to people.

I'm like that in real life too.

I'm really just a big music geek and the Music: non-Prince forum is one of the best places to talk about music on the net (at least sometimes). That type of stuff I discuss with people in real life too.
