Movie hero Dwayne Johnson grapples with gang of raiders on set of The Fast And Furious 6
Fearsome ... The Rock aka Dwayne Johnson in The Fast And Furious 6
Published: 23 hrs ago
FILM action hero The Rock single-handedly tackled a gang of BURGLARS on the set of his latest movie. The 40-year-old former wrestler sprang into action when the youths tried breaking into vans containing expensive equipment in Hackney, East London.
The Rock — real name Dwayne Johnson — was dressed as an FBI agent while filming The Fast and the Furious 6 in a neighbouring warehouse and caught sight of the thieves trying to force locks.
The youths were so shocked that they stopped what they were doing and fled empty-handed.
“It was like the Only Fools Batman sequence — they must have thought they were in the middle of a real-life action movie.
“Now the crew are joking that they should drop security and just have The Rock do it.”

Dolph Ziggler Takes Aim At Randy Orton And Kelly Kelly On Latest 'WWE Download'
This week on WWE Download, Randy Orton takes over Chris Jericho's reign in the "Midlife Crisis Clip of the Week" as a clip of the third-generation grappler botching an RKO attempt on Jericho during a January 2004 episode of Raw is shown multiple times.
"Nice work buddy, I've never actually seen a Statue of Liberty play in WWE before," Ziggler says of Orton in the clip. "Too bad your face wasn't covered in tats too, at least hide the embarrassment."
Ziggler continues, "Instead of the "Legend Killer," we can call you the "Segment Killer." You know like segments are parts of the show, and there are good ones and bad ones, and then there's one in the middle, there's one that I steal all the time, and then there's you know, Randy's. No wonder your TV wives won't stick around for longer than a week. Why don't you turn back into a human snake and quit while you're only slightly behind."
The Viper is not the only WWE Superstar Ziggler ridicules as Kelly Kelly is mocked over her dancing.

They need to give Paul a fuckin' LIFETIME deal!!!!
Report: Details On Paul Heyman's New WWE Deal, Pairing With CM Punk
Paul Heyman has signed a new deal with WWE. According to a source, his deal remains a per date deal that's been extended, and will end after WrestleMania 29.
Apparently the company feels that short-term arrangements work best with the mercurial Heyman, given the company's past experience with him both behind the scenes and on-screen. In addition to appearing in front of the camera, Heyman is also slated to be involved with the promotion of the upcoming CM Punk DVD documentary.
As noted last night, Punk will be screening the documentary on Sunday, October 7th from 1-3 at The Portage Theatre in Chicago, IL. It has not been confirmed if Heyman will attend the premiere, although it appears as though he will likely be present.

Backstage News On Why Christian Has Been Removed From WWE TV, New Feud Planned
There is speculation about Christian's WWE status after he hasn't appeared on RAW and SmackDown in a few weeks. Christian was scheduled to feud with United States Champion Antonio Cesaro but word is that WWE officials want to keep Christian off TV until after TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October. The story was first reported by SuperLuchas.net.
Christian is scheduled to appear during Bound For Glory weekend and induct Sting into TNA's Hall of Fame. This is part of the deal between WWE and TNA that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.
While there is no heat on Christian because he didn't choose to appear for TNA, WWE officials don't want him appearing for them while he's in the middle of a title feud on their programming. Expect him to feud with Cesaro later this year unless things change.

Lex Luger Interview - Kevin Nash's Controversial Remarks, Not Winning WWF Title, Jumping To WCW
Lex Luger called into the Wrestle Reaction radio show last week and talked with hosts Frank Manzo and Joe Omega about a variety of topics.
Lex Luger on the PG rating and how it affects the business: "I think [WWE] draws from a broader audience with the PG versus the edgier style...a lot of parents have always told me, especially if they have younger kids, which of course, you have to keep them in mind for your branding, those ten and unders..the parents don't like to have to watch the show with their hand on the channel changer the whole time...so, I like it to be a little more broadbased myself, personally, but I understand why it tends to always go towards the edgier storylines..."
On Kevin Nash's recent comments about Eddie Guerrero/Chris Benoit: "I don't know what context that was in...it's definitely an outrageous quote. I do think size was emphasized more in our era and fans got used to that, but I think there's been a huge transition...I understand Kevin...he likes to stay controversial..he's a very sharp guy, marketing-wise, and I know Kevin will make those statements, but I remember, back when I worked with Kevin, he put Rey Mysterio over in the middle of the ring...to me, the diversity now of high-flyers, big guys, little guys, in-between guys, guys that still have the muscled physiques with height, guys who don't, different body types...getting away from that reputation of WWE being all drug-enhanced...I love what they're doing now."
On never winning the World Heavyweight Championship in WWF during his '93-94 run: "In spite of some of the rumors I've heard through the years, I was never promised a world title from Vince McMahon. Timing's everything..and the company's going through a huge transition from, I think, the economy at that time..there were circumstances going on where wrestling was down, we were in Europe a lot because house shows were down in the US..there's a lot of economic factors going on as far as who would be champion and who wasn't...Bret [Hart] was sort of thinking about retiring...there were a lot of things going on back then, and they gave me an incredible run with that Lex Express, the SummerSlam was a spectacular event..the buyrate from that pay per view was not what they wanted..I think they just decided to head in a different direction..."
On whether or not he actually named "The Kliq": "I don't know if I can take sole credit for that..I would like to maybe give Davey Boy [Smith] the credit for that. Davey Boy and Owen Hart, I used to travel with them and they were much more clever and entertaining than I, so if there were any names put out there, I would really have to give them credit for that, not me. I just went along with it."
On "The Narcissist" gimmick and what he thought about its potential: "I had trouble grasping or getting my arms around what [Vince McMahon] wanted to do...once we did it and he took me out, introduced me at the WrestleMania as these girls at Cesars Palace carry out these huge mirrors, that was a lot of fun and I was definitely gaining some momentum. It was quite the shock when he came to me and said 'I'm gonna dress you in red, white, and blue and have you come off a helicopter and slam Yokozuna and become a good guy, but once again, Vince McMahon does things that a lot of us would doubt. He's very daring and he did it. But yeah..in retrospect, I would have a little more time as The Narcissist because that really was a lot of fun and I did think it was gaining some momentum."
On leaving WWE and going to WCW: "Money was definitely a factor but the contract I was offered at the time by WCW, for my career earnings, was not really a big inducement. Eric Bischoff was not a big fan of Lex Luger personally and really wanted me to prove myself a little bit...Eric took wonderful care of me after that...but at the time, it wasn't really a large contract offer by some of the other standards in the industry. But in WWE at the time, my contract had run out..and this is unprecedented, some people don't grasp this..but I had no contract. Vince and I went on just a handshake, a temporary agreement, for over five months...and I had talked with Sting, a few weeks before the initial Nitro show, and just out of casual conversation with Sting, I mentioned I wasn't under contract with WWE...Sting was blown away by that, so he went to Eric Bischoff..and that's how the whole thing started.."

Triple H WWE Superstar ... SHAVES HIS HEAD!!
Hunter Hearst Helmsley has done the unthinkable ... HE CHOPPED OFF HIS FLOWING GOLDEN LOCKS!!!
TMZ obtained photos of a shorn Triple H posing for pics with fans outside Titan Tower in Connecticut earlier today ... barely recognizable without his signature mane. Triple H had rocked the long hair ever since he debuted in the WWE in 1995 ... it's unclear when he decided to hack it off. But ... HHH has been contemplating hanging up his tights ever since he lost to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam ... and now the new 'do could be a sign that he's decided to leave the ring for good and commit to his corporate job with the WWE. | |

Nah, if he was going to do something like that, he would've done it one of those times leading up to Summerslam. In fact, when Paul went off on Vince and the WWF in 2001 (below), he was told to speak how he truthfully felt about shit. So, it wasn't like he went off script.

Her official fansite reports that Kat is available for bookings, writing: “[She] is free to do DVDs, bookings, iPPVs, and whatever else! If interested please send emails to infamousbookings@hotmail.com.”

Goldberg On How The Streak Should Have Ended
Goldberg was interviewed by 4th & Pain, hosted by Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker and weight loss champion Chuck Carroll. During the interview, Goldberg discussed joining the business and his career. Goldberg also noted that he would have liked to have been tazed for real by Scott Hall when Kevin Nash ended his streak in 1999. Goldberg also revealed that he'd like to wrestle Steve Austin and The Undertaker, and would "love" a rematch with Brock Lesnar. He also gave his thoughts on Ryback.
On The Streak's Beginning: "I think between Tenay and Bobby Heenan, it was something they came up with. In all honesty, the character development, the crowd reaction, the squash matches, that all just came to be. I see what other companies are trying to do to emulate the streak and the reality is it's hard to really duplicate something like that that actually came about by chance, by accident. It all kind of happened as it was going on. I don't believe it was a preplanned being to give me an undefeated streak for a year or however long a period of time it was. It just gained momentum week after week after week and they just rode it out. I was lucky in the right place at the right time. Six or eight months after I got in the business I had the belt around my waist."
On The Streak's End: "I'm upset because they wouldn't let Scott Hall hit me with the (Taser) with the barbs in it. Because that's what I want. I figured if I'm going down, I want you to stick me for real. But, it is what it is. A few weeks after Kevin Nash was put on the booking committee, Kevin Nash gets to beat me first. But hey, it is what it is."
Seriously? Real Barbs?!: "Absolutely! Adam (Carriker) can tell you… d-lineman are a different breed. I truly believe that even 20 years past me playing football, I have the same mentality as I did back then. I'm sure Adam has it. You have to. You gotta be a little nuts.
"The reality is, I wanted it as real as humanly possible. And if means me taking two barbs in my chest on national TV to make it look real, then damn! Let's do it! I'm all for it.
"Right when they knocked on my door, I didn't fake head butt every door and every locker in every training room that we were at. I went full bore. I was in it to win it, that's for sure."
Favorite All-Time Match: "I always liked working with the Steiner Brothers. I loved working with them.
"Dallas Page… the match Dallas and I had at Halloween Havoc one year and he wanted me to spear him like 15 times in the damn match. It turned out to be a pretty darned good match. I ended up knocking myself out when I ended up spearing him, but was able to finish the match.
"The Hogan match at the Georgia Dome. That night at the Georgia Dome was the coolest thing in the world. Not because I was able to win the World Championship, not because it was in front of 44,000 people. But it was in front of the crowd that used to cheer us on as the Falcons.
"At the end of the night Jessie Tuggle, Chuck Smith… all the guys came out to save me. For that one second the guys that I revere, the guys that I respected, that I looked up to, the guys that make it All-Pro, the guys that are able to start every week and just kick ass wanted to be where I was. And so for me, that was really the coolest moment of my professional life, because the people that I looked up to wanted to be me and that was just a really cool feeling."

WWE's Plans Revealed For Rey Mysterio And Sin Cara Going Into WrestleMania 29
WWE has put Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara together to build to a WrestleMania 29 match.
You may remember that WWE wanted to do Mysterio vs. Cara at WrestleMania 28 but both of them got injured. WWE was planning to give out luchador masks to everyone in attendance at WrestleMania 28 and then have them wear the masks before the Cara-Mysterio bout so they could set the Guinness World Record for most masks worn in one place at the same time. This is what WWE is building to for WrestleMania 29.
The new Rey-Cara partnership goes deeper than that though. Rey is not 100% right now and the idea is to put him with Cara so they can work together with Rey being hidden some while he works on getting back to 100%. Another idea is to connect Rey and Cara as partners because there's a feeling that Rey's fans aren't connected to Cara just yet.
There has also been talk of Cara and Mysterio winning the WWE Tag Team Titles before breaking up for the WrestleMania 29 match.

Report: WWE May Expand Partnership With NBC
WWE has started talks with NBC about producing original programming for their new NBC Sports Network, formally VERSUS.
While this is certainly not a game changer, there could be great value for the fledgling station down the road. From NBC's perspective, WWE can eat up 1-2 hours of programming per week -- not counting reruns -- and is very inexpensive when compared to other brands and sports leagues.
The internal issue is if they want this to be a true "sports only" channel like ESPN. WWE is selling NBC on their strong built-in viewership numbers, something the network values.
NBCU Cable Entertainment and Cable Studios Chairman Bonnie Hammer -- who has been actively involved with WWE's deals with the USA Network, NBC and Syfy in the past -- is not hands-on with these talks at this point, but is aware of them.
In addition to a possible deal with NBC Sports, WWE recently launched Saturday Morning Slam and is set to premiere a new show called WWE Main Event on the ION Television network beginning Wednesday, October 3rd. I also reported earlier this week that WWE is expected to announce another digital partnership this month.

Exclusive: Ultimate Warrior - WWE Hall Of Fame Update
WWE is once again circling engaging the Ultimate Warrior about being inducted in the 2013 Hall of Fame.
According to a source, Warrior is adamant about only doing the deal with Vince McMahon. Warrior reportedly does not want Stephanie McMahon or Triple H, who is spear-heading the inductions, to be involved with negotiations.
It remains to be seen if Vince will engage Warrior. While they are in no rush, the company realizes that they need a centerpiece for the Hall of Fame. With Bruno Sammartino resisting a deal, they are currently left without a main attraction for Madison Square Garden.
I had heard last month that Randy Savage was at least discussed for next year's Hall of Fame, however the Poffo's demands continue to prevent a deal from happening. As noted earlier, The Poffos are insisting that the entire family is inducted, similar to the Von Erichs.

WWE Network Reportedly Being Revamped
Following a poor reception to the WWE Network from both cable distributors and consumers alike, WWE's plans for the fledgling channel are being revamped. The project has undergone some major changes behind-the-scenes with the entire concept being revamped, a WWE source told the website.
Cable and satellite-television providers have expressed little to no interest in carrying the wrestling-centric channel due to the belief it's not viable. And while WWE has considered making the network a pay-subscription channel, the internal belief is that it would be extremely difficult to make the venture profitable in today's climate.
Despite these dilemmas, WWE plans to eventually get the project off the ground in some form or fashion. Details are scarce but the company is expected to make an announcement in the future regarding some sort of partnership.

Problem Keeping WWE From Taking Possession Of Huge Universal Wrestling Tape Library
We noted back in June that after several attempts, WWE had finally purchased the Watts video library that consists of Mid-South Wrestling, Mid-South's Power Pro Wrestling TV and the original Universal Wrestling Federation. The library is owned by Bill Watts' ex-wife Ene as part of a divorce settlement and is the largest known wrestling video collection not owned by WWE. It was reported back in June that the two sides finally were able to come to terms as WWE wanted the footage for the Network.
It was reported that WWE already had plans to do a DVD documentary on Mid-South and were having talks about doing DVD's on Ted DiBiase, Junkyard Dog and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
WWE still has not taken possession of the library. WWE is indeed planning to take over the library but word is that there is an issue with finalizing the deal. As of this writing, the DVD's are still being sold via Universal Wrestling Archives, Inc. on UniversalWrestling.com.

Bully Ray Re-Signs With TNA For Two Years, Backstage Talk On Devon
Bully Ray has signed a new contract with TNA. He re-signed 3-4 days ago and word is that it's for two years. Ray will continue to wrestle for TNA and work as a backstage agent.
This is the first time in years that Ray and Devon won't be working together in a promotion. They will continue to work together at their Team 3D Academy in Florida. There was talk at Thursday's Impact that TNA "didn't do right by Devon" because he got himself into better shape and did everything asked, including working with younger talents like Garett Bischoff. Some people in TNA were shocked that the company did not re-sign Devon because he was one of the most well liked.
