I haven´t really followed basketball since the days of Larry Bird, Dr.J and Magic Johnson.

I would love to try to get into it but I think it´s a totally different world, and a totally different game in this day and age. lol

Ballers these days seem to have less class than the great Dr.J or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

I miss those days.

I kept thinking Miami and James would choke but they haven't yet, so I don't think they will. They've made a believer out of me.

I think Miami is going to win the series.

2 night?

Could be, since it's at Miami.

I hope your right? It's hard to beat a team that has a great player along with a bunch of Refs that must be Heat fans. Anytime somebody gets even close to touching Lebron.... they blow the whistle. Not to mention Lebron travels all of the time. Westbrook has been gettin hammered everytime he drives to the hole....and very rarely is the whistle blown. Not to mention Battier doing his best Vladi Divac impression by always flopping on the flooring trying to draw charges. I see another referee scandal on the horizon.....

I don't ever recall seeing the refs be this uneven in a Finals series.

Basketball is as great as it ever was. Really! Hasn't changed that much. There's classy players...no doubt. Plenty of teams plenty of players...

What will help is to get caught up I'm the dramatic plotline of it again as well as recapture some nostalgia. Knw u become more fine tuned.to the dramas and relations around the players and coaches, it'll add to the excitement of the game. That's all it takes....force yourself, knee deep, into another season, and the second will come naturally.

I personally will not be able 2b much of a sports fan any longer if the heat do win.... it will prove that money is what wins championships above anything else. You get a rich team to grab up all these superstars while having teams like the bobcats with record breaking losing seasons it shows somethings not right. I like to watch sports that is about competition and heart. The NBA and NASCAR were the only two sports i found to really seem thrilling lately and both have been shown to be money controlled just like the yankees in MLB.

^ Look at the history of the NBA it's always been a superstar-driven league - the Showtime Lakers, Bird's Celtics, Dr. J & Malone's Sixers, Jordan & Pippen's Bulls, Wilt's Lakers, the ShaqKobe Lakers, etc. What Miami did is nothing new - you need at least two superstars to have a chance at winning. As for the Bobcats, blame their woes on the inept front office.

I am SO tired of the hate for Lebron James. All he did was exercise his right as an American citizen to choose where he wants to work. Being a Knick fan, I detest the Heat(not because of Lebron), but I hope they finish this to silence the haters.

It's nice to dream, but this series is rigged for Miami to win it....it's obvious as day. I want OKC to win too, but it's over tonight confused

It's like baseball in that respect, ttheblive don't always get to the bottom...its a capitalized league... The football league, however American it is, is more pike a socialists league...the love gets spread around. Profit sharing, the was y they share licensing revenue with owners....it helps with having a variety of teams at superiors. It also illicit mire resort for repeat success.

Lemme ask you a question though...

For every team that ever got slighted because of so-called "rigged interference", what has been the response from the offensive team? Like during the final stretch?

What is more important? That refs fucked up a team's dreams or did that team not get over that hump to at least give the other team more competition?

Shit's much deeper than rigged referees and there's been a lot of refs in the past accused of rigging it for the other team so it ain't like this has become too big of an ordeal to deal with.

You yourself said that the OKC boys were at fault for their last loss. Let's not mention Cerebus said that dude was missing important free throws and making bad plays. Ref rigging is not a good excuse. It's quite a lopsided view in how one views how a game goes because of bad calls.

At the end of the day, players have 2 execute in these games. Refs or no refs the players have 2 do their jobs and OKC has not. The ONLY game I recall where the ref really screwed a team was the Bulls in 1994 when the ref called a foul on Pippen at the end of the game against the scrub from Carolina. One of the worst calls of all time.

See what I mean? If you can't continue to do your part in helping your team, it's hopeless then. But yeah that was one fucked up game in '94...

Unless the ref purposely calls you for out of bounds or something, then... lol OKC just gotta dominate 100%. Don't lead first half and then lose steam the second. Then ref rigging won't be much of a problem. lol
