Patience

Patience is a virtue so they say, but how patient are you? What makes you impatient? Who is the least patient person you know? Who is the most patient?...

I have learned to quiet myself and be patient... I consider myself pretty patient because life has beat me up in that way to learn to stand firm and wait.

I think I am the most patient person I know... my grand niece is the least patient followed by her impatient mother.

I also learned NEVER to pray for patience or strength. lol That is asking God to give you major problems and I am patient enough. Amen and thank the Lord for that. pray

I use to be incredibly patient.

Now not so much. I really have to work on it and many times working on it doesn't work at all.

I'm firmly planted in denial

yeahthat

espcially when it comes to customer service and trying to call a place of business and having to go through 25 steps just to get to an agent and you get a voice mail!!! mad

Thanks to technology, We live in a I WANT IT NOW society. Kids/Teens are the worse when it comes to not having patience. I feel bad for them, for when they get old and cranky, life will not treat them kindly!

I'm trying to follow the patience is a virtue philosophy. Since I'm an Aries man, that sounds too good to be true because we're impatient fucks. lol

It's like once we get invested in something we want it to happen now and not later. lol When it comes to money however, I learned that it takes time so I don't keep bringing it up. nod Everything else is still a work in progress. biggrin

I'm very impatient by nature, but I think I've cultivated tons of patience through intentional work on myself.

As a kid I was always told I needed more patience. As an adult, I've been praised and complimented on the amount of patience I display (especially in dealing with children and people with disabilities).

It's what you make it.

it depends, something like waiting in line i'm patient. can't hurry the process so might as well relax.

but for something i'm working on or bound to complete? then i'm somewhat impatient.

moments when other people slow me down through incompetence and plain old irritating behavior? i get very impatient

I find that I'm impatient in situations that tend to make me nervous, such as driving or being in large crowds.

I'm patient (for the most part) with people on a personal level. I am externally anyway.

I think all of my best friends are impatient.

and then he added that he will be 10 minutes!!!!! stfu so thats when i lost it!!! boxed

and he says 'calm down lady'

and i said 'dont u call me lady'

then he said 'well then what will i call u'

and i said 'u can call me Soooooo pissed off' lol

it was really awkward when he finally came down with his stupid key lurking

Since you've reminded me that's Mr. Burns, he was looking pitiful and impatient at the end of the line. I'm sure some of us can identify with that nod lol I watch tv only sparingly.

Tip 4 U here...if U only respond w/Agent and nuthing else..just keep saying Agent over any other promps..no digits or anything else but this word, Agent..will take U directly 2 an Agent w/out any other complications. I have used this technique several times and works brilliantly.

I don't tolerate one, believe me, and besides, if you didn't know or forgot that was Mr.Burns, you would still say that man in the back of the line is impatient, true? lol
