The actor who played little Michael Hughley on the sitcom The Hughleys has been charged with murder.

The charge stems from an August 2011 incident, but news of the child star’s involvement was only made public after a recent report on the gossip website MediaTakeOut.com .

The child actor, whose real name is Dorjan Lyndell Daniels, and two other men were accused of stabbing 26-year-old John Joseph to death outside Chitivah’s nightclub in Stockton, California.

According to San Joaquin County Jail records, Daniels is charged with one count of willful, deliberate premeditated murder and one count attempted murder, premeditated.

He is also charged with two counts of street terrorism

imo child actors should be awarded with some sort of mandatory educational/academic scholarship clause as a part of their contract. this way when the show they play in has ended, then they have some sort of net to fall back on.

child actors are some of the most exploited people in hollywood. i feel very sad for Dorjan Lyndell Daniels' outcome.

he was cute and funny on the show...this is too sad.

It's not like going to the worst neighborhoods in San Fancisco, Oakland and Richmond, but is definitely a good deal of gang activity in Tracy, Modesto and Stockton. And there's some fucked up individuals out there, too. It's all that meth. Been a problem for, shit, twenty five years now.

i have a more recent history in all the mentioned areas

with a grocerylist of criminal activities (endin in '09)

i agree about the meth monsters, however, i didn't

do much with them (too sketchy for me) i kept to

those whom delt in the three 'C's

life is so much better now that it's my past

Yep. And that's really all that matters. But I still live in the Bay Area and I still know a lot of people in those cities. It ain't all sunshine and happiness. Look up the crime statistics for Stockon and Modesto - they're WAY above the national average.
