This Is The Last Year We'll Be Able To Do The Same Numbers Thing

I just noticed...

There is no 13th month.

ACTUALLY

geek

Traditionally there WAS a 13th month, if you go by a lunar calendar. (13 months of 28 days to coincide with the lunar cycle)

But I think that one of the Popes changed it because of the "sinister" quality of the number 13 (or something like that)

[pause]

OK - I just googled that. hmm

I think that I have my terminology wrong...but I heard somewhere that calendars used to have 13 months to coincide with the phases of the moon.

shrug

There's ALWAYS something you can do with numbers.

For instance, us Americans will write November 12th as "11/12/13". Europeans will do the same thing on December 12th.

And of course let's not forge the two biggest days of them all next year:

1/2/13

That's either January 2nd in America, or February 1st in Europe.

But more importantly, it's "3121" backwards.

You just noticed the number of months stops at 12?

So, what did you believe prior to coming to this new understanding?

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Me too, I'm tired of the same old numbers, day in & day out.
We need some new numbers.

You're being facetious. I was alluding to the exactness of the date.
