My mum has fostered many children who have been through such horrors and I've seen the rough end of it too many times for me to believe that there's a benevolent super power at work in the universe. The more I think about it, the more the professor comes across as cool and calculating, I bet he groomed her. Well I've already stated that I don't believe that there is any kind of plan.

And if a god existed that was all powerful (as is claimed) then why would a 'devil' even exist in god's universe?
