The thing is, I didn't see it when it first came out.

Everyone was talking about how cool it was... other movies were copying the effects, even spoofs.

When I finally watched it, I thought the effects were cool, but the storyline was boring.

And I wanted to just choke Morpheus, he was so bland. shake

Not a fan of Matrix either. I think I have tried watching it at least 4 times, and have yet to make it through without falling asleep and waking up long after the movie ended.

Also what was that movie with Leonardo D and that chick from Juno about dreams? Several friends recommended that one. I still don't know what the hell was going on during that flick. At least four times I needed to ask my partner, what the hell was going on...of course he had no idea either.

The film poster shows a man and a woman hugging over a picture of the Titanic's bow. In the background is a partly cloudy sky and at the top are the names of the two lead actors. The middle has the film's name and tagline, and the bottom contains a list of the director's previous works, as well as the film's credits, rating, and release date.

And I love Leonardo...go figure.

i HATE this movie. my ex took me to see it. the movie brought tears to his eyes. he looked over at me and said how romantic it was. I glared at him and said she is a slut, leonardo plays a loser and its not like it was a surprise ending, the f-ing boat sank years ago. I know I should not have said that at the time, but that movie was way 2 long.

Wasn't crazy about Black Swan either, it was okay not something I'd want to watch again, but I didn't get all the hype.

For some odd reason I liked this movie, I thought with every fiber of my body I'd hate it, but despite the obvious stuff it still came out interesting to me.

In what world does everybody love horror films?

You must be high. falloff

In fact horror is one of those niche genres that MOST people hate, barring teenagers and a few of us older adults who aren't pussies.

And for whoever said that it's about a lack of imagination - if you want imagination, watch a fantasy-genre movie. If you expect that from a slasher or a horror film you're pretty much missing the point and what you're doing makes about as much sense as expecting a surgeon to turn tricks for you in a back alley when that's not their job detail in the first place.

It seems to me that you're taking the word "everyone" too literally.

I'm sure that not everyone loves any of the movies named, so why single out Hershe?

And...

If you're referring to my remark about SLASHER movies lacking imagination, YOU were missing the point.

IMO, cutting someone up is stupid and boring. Oooooh Scary! rolleyes

I'm talking about horror- where you leave the theater or turn the TV off and continue to be freaked out- movies that take the time to come up with new ways to be creepy other than just beheading or impaling. bored

I like a slasher film every now and then. But Silence of the Lambs is ten times creepier than any slasher flick.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment
