Some days, I friggin' LOVE my job Found out this morning that they're giving us summer hours (Friday afternoons off) every week this year, instead of every other week (like they have in the past).
I had planned to use vacation time to take off the non-summer hours Friday afternoons (which would have used 3 1/2 days of vacation time). Now, I won't have to!
Oh, there will be sssssooooooo many cocktails drunk this summer. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

Another good day - I got a free dress!
It's one we're going to sell around Christmas time - and as the copywriter, I'm participating in the wear test. The dress is gorgeous - princess seam silhouette in purple velvet. Fits me like a glove.
All I have to do is wear and wash it a few times, fill out some paperwork - and I get to keep it.
I even have purple suede and patent, ankle-strap peep toes that match perfectly.
