I like watching good movies repeatedly, but after 5+ viewings I think about all the great films I haven't seen yet and would rather watch one of those instead. So my list of movies seen 10+ times is only Purple Rain and Under the Cherry Moon.

I can get hooked on movies. In Nov/Dec I was hooked on 'A Better Tomorrow' and 'Columbiana.'

Watched each about six times. A lot of my collection is getting close to ten.

If you think about Wall E, you will see it aint shit. It carries a big warning.

We have become dependant on what we are told, just like all the fatties on the spaceship, also we are creating more crap than we can dispose of hence the creation of Wall E and his little "Mechanical" friends who were left behind to "clean up after us".

Wall E actually has a meaning - We have become slaves to the "Corporations" as the people on the spaceship did, we are also polluting our home beyond repair, as in the story of Wall E. It isn't really hard to see that razz cool

Life is short, don't be a dick.

Wow. I tend to only watch movies once or twice.

Even Purple Rain I've only seen a handful of times.

Thinking about it REALLY hard, the only ones that I think have crossed the TEN viewings are;

Star Wars (episodes IV, V & VI)

The Fifth Element

The Birdcage

Spaceballs

Some that will soon hit the 10-mark;

Avatar

Lord Of The Rings (all 3 of them)

Matchpoint

Napoleon Dynamite

Matrix (first one...I haven't even seen the 3rd one yet, and I OWN it disbelief)

...and some that I've prob seen a million times b/c of kids;

Monsters, Inc.

Toy Story (ALL of them)

A Bug's Life

Iron Giant

Shrek

Kung Fu Panda

...and finally ones I've seen a zillion times over the course of my life every holiday;

Mary Poppins

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer

& that one with Santa Claus and the heat miser

Field of Dreams

Die Hard

A Christmas Story

My ex was/is a movie collector, and could sit and watch the same damned movie over & over again for days on end...so I've probably unwittingly seen more movies over ten times that I care not to recall (Pride & Predjudice for example ill).

I'm sort of shocked that no one has mentioned this movie:

But then again maybe this is a baby boomer thing. I know when I was a teen back in the 1980's my local movie theater would have weekend midnight screenings of this movie where people dressed up as characters in the movie and act out scenes in front of the stage and sign "The Time Warp" and other songs.
