Maybe you guys can enlighten me...

why would a man stay with a woman that treats him like shit? Claims she loves him,but her actions say different.

It means that you need to allow that man to fix things with that woman because he still loves her.

A person needs to figure some things out for themselves and fix their own problems. If we respect that person then we need to give that person space to work things out.

Cuz he's a drama king. Believe it or not, there are some men who feed off of drama and discord in a relationship. Just as there are women who stay with men that mistreat and disrespect them, you have men who do the same thing and make similar choices when it comes to women.

Perhaps it boils down to two things: 1) whether or not you feel worthy of respect and love and 2) whether you were shown examples of positive and healthy relationships.

You can't tell a man his woman doesn't love him if doesn't even know what it is to be loved in the first place.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

That could be it right there! He has talked about his parents before, and there relationship wasn't that good either.

Does anyone believe in truly "falling in love"???

As in, you meet someone and sparks fly and that person becomes the most important thing in your life?

If so...then maybe that person had faults and one of those faults may be treating you bad in certain occassions. But they make it up in other ways.

It's probably why there are so many people in abusive relationships...when one person is in "love" with another who doesn't just treat him/her bad but then goes the extra step to be physically abusive. Happiness is a state of mind, and you can convince yourself that you are happy even when your life is falling apart around you (or the other way around, some people leading fabulous lives can be miserable fucks).

shrug

It's a shitty thing this "love" crap.

But the good news, Dave, is that in the first expected half of your life number one might feel like it's the norm, but hot DAMN (!) at your second half life when paragraphs 2 & 3 lock- in and you don't have to worry about that craziness anymore. You won't seek it, likely you won't find it and it will allllll seem like a bad dream from your 20's (and perhaps early 30's if you've been lucky and awake) lol

Tell the truth and shame the debil, HotGritz! lol

...and I have to say, the chicks in the Latino congregation are hotter than the ones in my English speaking congregation. My congregation looks crunchy granola hippified or, conservative casual, suburban...the Latinas all waltz into church with trendy outfits and heels swinging hair every which way, and they're not afraid to embrace their curves! I'll keep my eye out for ya lol
