how thick is the ice?^
probably like 7 inch
luckily it´s thawing now , i was getting really fed up with the freezing cold , it lasted like 3 weeks
temperatures were reaching 3 F at night time and like 4 F during the day urgh
half the the country was anxious for the 11 city ice skating tour to take place , the 'Elfstedentocht' which last took place in 1997 , it´s national folklore they were whining about it on every tv show for weeks but finally they decided it wasn´t gonna happen since they require the ice to be at least 7 inches thick throughout the course , which wasn´t the case in some parts on the other hand i'd've liked for it to take place , but i just can't cope with that cold

The cold is wonderful! I really loved it and enjoyed the skating!
