I really HATE that they're rebooting this thing already, but that poster's not bad. Not bad at all!

Yeah, from the preview it looks like they're delving deep into the origin story, the death of Uncle Ben stuff, etc. I'm kind of excited about that.

I'm a spider-man dork. The first movie a) had tons of awesome stuff that I loved and b) a bunch of stuff I didn't like. I understand Hollywood is Hollywood and they're not going make fanboy's dream. They still need to sell the story to everyone else. So, I accepted the weird, non-history stuff. Whatever. I figure the trade-off to see such good, comic fiction that we've only been able to "read" is worth it.

I'm expecting the same formula for this new flick. I do however like that they're going deep into storylines that us fans love and revere. I'm pretty stoked to see that. The new look looks awesome, and I would bet the CG is going to look fantastic. 3D can blow for now until they can make it brighter.

I would love to see the 2099 spidey, too. Those stories were awesome.
