That's one of the best things about being from continental Europe and one of the few I miss when I am away: that you can get the best desserts here. Whenever I travel elsewhere I see sweet things that look nice, but never taste nearly as good as the things I can get here. this is true, the dedication to goodies in europe cannot be challenged!! except the UK where they are truly shit at anything like this however our puddings are not a total washout.. syrup sponge puddings & clotted cream get me off & atm.. marks & sparks summer berry meringue roulade is my passion. i can manage half on my own, easily!! nomnom
