I want to raise and release any bird I own back into the wild. Native owls are dying off here, and other predatory birds... but I ain't keeping no hawk/falcon/vulture.

I would want to raise a Saw-whet owl... those are the little guys (about 8 inches) and are monoganous... I would take babies in the raise them. They call it "owling".

If I could raise parrots and have them released back in their natural habitat that would be great... but parrots live in communities and are not solitary like owls are. Plus, I need to live futher south. Closer to their natural habitat, that would be in your peeps neck of the woods... Honduras.

I'm a wild animal lover. That's what happens when a kids keeps a damn seagull in her bathtub until it heals.

I've heard of "owling" but the bored-teenager-stunt one. (Did you see my "Tebowing" thread???)

That sounds cool though...definitely.

There are all sorts of animals in Honduras that are endangered...when I strike it rich and have a winter home down there, I'll bring you down to do some "parroting" or "macawing".

This is Henry, one of three Cats we own. We used to have four, but sadly one went out one night and never came home
