Which do you prefer? IMO, clearly VS is higher in price than Fredericks, but Fredericks carries a great range of bra/lingerie sizes for women who have bigger than average breasts and curves, though I think the material that Frederick's uses feels a bit low quality. If you truly want to be naughty though, I pick Fredericks over VS.

I like VS...

All the way. The bras and panties are comfortable, and worth the extra money. Always feel sexy in them.

I have only ever shopped at Fredericks but would love to try a bra from VS

I don't care for either of them.

There are a zillion intimates brands (for whatever purpose) that are prettier, less trashy, and made better than these. And I prefer to patronize local businesses when I can.

I am in FOH far more often then VS. I feel like VS is moving toward a more infantilized look/feel that is trying to over pink, fluff, glitter etc everything.

The smell of a lot of their body mists and those things turn my stomach to rot, it all smells sickly sweet.

FOH is beginning to have cheaper quality of stuff then they did in the past.

I will start shopping in other places more often now

I work for a company that sold intimates at one time and some of our people had come from The Limited (which owns VS). The stories they would tell...

i was under the assumption that more women wore sexy corsets,thigh highs most the time. its part of my everyday dress. with FOH it doesnt last a day. VS sexy corsets last. with the strappy dresses everyone is wearing i would rather someone see a beautiful piece of silk ribbon and hints of my corset than a plastic see thru bra strap.also if i drag my lover off the couch im naked with a rope in one hand and a packet of wintergreen tictacs in the other.

I don't mind Victoria's Secret, but then I haven't shopped there since I moved to Europe permanently in 2000-ish. I think I used like their lotions back in the day, and when I was much younger I styled for them (with Harry Connick Jr.'s wife as one of the models). My sister bought me a pair of wedgie sandals from there a couple years ago that weren't so bad, and another time (2003-ish) I bought some boots from them for a shoot that were a complete hit. Have they change much in the last 10 years or so?

Fredericks always struck me as straight out porn-style lingerie. Kinda flimsy and not feminine rather than outright provacative with crotch slits and whatnot.

Every now and again I like to pick up one La Perla piece or two when I'm in Italy, but only because I get a generous discount.

La Perla is so beautiful! I worked at VS way back in 1997 and at that time they had a better line that had a different tag then the rest. It was quite nice. Fredricks looks garrish to me, like maybe you have shown your stuff to too many men before. If I was a man I would be a little afraid.
