I don't understand why they didn't take all of them if some of them were being treated badly and they know he can't afford to feed them properly. Seems like the best thing to do would have been to take everything and let the guy start over in the future with, ya know, maybe, ONE snake.

What makes my skin boil is seeing the excuses hoarders of all kinds make as to why they keep so much junk in the house. It's like that's not a good excuse to keep 20 old suitcases if you're not going anywhere.
