How the %$$#%$# does that twit Jimmy Fallon have a show and George can't have one? Primetime network TV is the most racist thing on the planet. Of course they're going to put the Mexican guy on the short end of the stick so that Conan gets his way. How ridiculous, the other way around would have never happened....

*bracing myself for the onslaught of the 'it's not racism' bandwagon in 5.....4....3...2....1....*

I'd rather not respond to the racism bit, but I have watched George's show and it's irritating. His stand-up was too long and uninteresting and his interviews were pretty bland. I didn't understand how he got a show in the first place.

Well, why do the other guys who have terrible talk shows get YEARS to develop their craft and get a following? I don't understand how some of these other talk shows have managed to stay on so long--especially Fallon, gag.

Trolls be gone!

The time slot change probably had a lot to do with it. Not everybody wants to stay up till midnight for an hour long show. Such a shame. I loved the musical guests.

That's what I meant when I said that there are people who were on Lopez that it's unlikely you'll be seeing anywhere else anytime soon. I definitely agree that it's the time slot change that made the difference. By 12M, most working people are turning in. It just seems unfair to me that he should be pushed to the later hour to accommodate Conan---but that could be because I can't stand Conan!

Same here. I don't see the appeal at all. He is no Letterman or Leno.

Wow, this is really sad news...for about three or four people.

He is the worst chat show host ever. corny jokes, awkward questions, always used to stutter whilst thinking of what to say, and the worst of all, his fake laughters whenever he had a comedian as a guest. gggrrrrr.

He seems like a nice guy, and he did have some great guests including Prince, but he sucked as a host.

Not surprised it didn't pull in a lot viewers.

I agree with NewPowerSista, the time slot change really damage Mr. Lopez's viewership. TBS pulled the rug out from under Lopez... plain and simple. Oh well... shrug

I like George Lopez, but never enough to watch his show. I'm sure pushing his show forward to accommodate Conan was the beginning of the end. Though I was surprised one night a few weeks ago while channel surfing, when I came across the last minute of the Prince performance. Gonna have to look that thing up and check it out.

Nope. His ratings were just as terrible when he was on at 11. He made the move to midnight because he thought that Conan would be a good lead in. But Conan has been doing bad in the ratings too. Not as bad though.

I'm sorry to say I believe Conan is next..Even though I'm sure he has a more solid contract then Lopez. But contracts mean nothing if U losing the network money in ratings..That was the problem with his NBC gig.
