Do you shower in the morning or at night?

I normally shower in the morning to get my day started but lately I've been breaking out on my face and I'm being told it's from not cleaning my face before I go to bed. Apparently the sweat build up from the day (I'm in Texas and it's HOT) clogs the pores at night creating pimples. So I'm going to switch to taking showers at night before I go to bed to see if it helps.

So do you shower in the morning, at night, or both?

At night and sometimes both. I've never understood how people can walk around all day, sweatin, pissin, and shittin, then lay their funky asses on some clean sheets. Well, I guess they're not clean but still. shake

Good luck with the breakouts. Try some good astringent like Kiehl's Blue Astringent that's some GOOD shit. thumbs up!

It really depends. I'm not a morning person so for the longest time I have been showering at night before bed. But recently I've been showering in the morning. It helps me wake up. I bet you that I'll switch to night time showers when winter comes because I can't be bothered in turning on the heater in the morning. I'm always rushing out.

Morning, usually. I have very fine hair, so I have to wash it every day. And if I do that at night, it gets jacked up when I sleep on it.

If I ride my bike after work, I shower at night, too - because I don't want to get into bed with all that trail dust on my legs and pollen in my hair. Same if I've played golf or done anything requiring sunscreen or bug spray.

Morning shower for me. Why don't you try cleansing your face before you go to bed, that way you can still have your morning shower to get you going and your face will be clean when you go to bed.

The obvious solution.

In the morning, and I wash my face at night.

But if it's real hot, I might take 2 or 3 showers a day.

Almost always morning but sometimes at night too. I like to feel clean when I go to bed. I always wash my face before bed, whether I have make up on or not

I'd sooner take a bath than swab myself with one of those things. shake

Full disclosure: I will occasionally use a washcloth if I'm just taking a "bird bath." But it gets used once and goes straight into the wash. With bleach.

I don't use the same one twice. Do people usually do that? And I wash mine in bleach before using them.

I can't even stomach the idea of one hanging in the shower to dry. Or worse...not dry. feeling ill

Lucky for me, my laundry room is right next to my bathroom. But yes, those suckers can be quite disgusting when they dry. I definitely understand the comparison to a spank rag. lol

Why don't you wash your face at night and shower in the morning? I started to break out as I got older confused I have tried lots of stuff to try and get rid of it, tea tree oil products have helped a little.

Ditto. I have to shower before I go to sleep, and I have to shower when I wake up.

And I'll shower after work, if I'm going out or get sweaty during the day.

Okay...That's the solution to the problem. Wash face at night and still shower in the morning. I've never in all my years had this break out problem not even as a teen. For those that don't live in TX it's been over 100 degrees for over a month. I'm sweating more than usual I guess...shrug

I go through cycles with this stuff. Sometimes take them at night, sometimes the a.m.

I use wash towels and would only go without if I had absolutely no choice. How do you slough off dead skin and shit and really get the grime off of you properly without one? Once they get dry they get crunchy but frankly there's shit way more gross than a dry towel. I just hang it on the rack, and when I do my laundry, take em all, dump em in with some detergent and some bleach. Easy peasy.

I get real lazy sometimes to take my nightly ones. Mostly both. But even if I dont take a shower at night I always wash my face. It's very important to..especially if you wear makeup.

At the end of the day, I think just shows how subjective people's idea of cleanliness and hygiene, really is, because I've known people over the course of my life who think getting up out of bed, and not taking a shower before you go out the door for the day, is incredibly disgusting, and some who think baths are filthy and don't really get you clean.
