  • The sick cat at work continues to hang in there, surprisingly. But I wonder how much longer she can hold on, with all of her health problems. She doesn't eat much (maybe a bit of baby food and a couple sips of water), so she's lost a TON of weight. She seems to perk up though, when one of us gives her attention. She looooooves that, poor kitty.
  • I thought I would have a free day tomorrow, with time free to do whatever I wanted, but that's changed. I now have a couple of pet sittings that I need to do. Which is fine, I can't complain. I need the money.
  • I absolutely love Mio Water Enhancer! I love how it makes plain old water taste good, and the fact that it has zero calories in it. You can't beat that. I've had people tell me, "I don't like it, because it has artificial sweeteners in it". rolleyes The way I look at it, using Mio has to be a hell of a lot better than all of that Pepsi that I used to drink. If Kraft ever stops making it, I think I would be geniunely upset.
  • Got my new glasses today; I love them! They look really nice on me.
  • I need to finish cleaning this house from top to bottom. I hope to get some of that done tomorrow.

I love it too! At first I was like " I dont need to flavor my water" then someone at work made me try it and now im hooked! Sometimes plain water is sooooo boring

highfive Plain water is definitely boring. Most people seem to be okay with drinking it, but I'm not one of those, I guess. lol I need something in the water to kick it up a little bit. I've lost almost 4 pounds in one week, because I started using Mio, and have stopped drinking Pepsi COMPLETELY. For me, that's pretty damn good. lol

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I don't know, man. It's hard to explain.

But to me it's almost as ridiculous as going around calling people 'caucasian' or whatever.

And I think what bothers me most is when people have a very specific and general idea of Latin people. Like, oh, you're Latino, you must be like this and that.

I'm not making sense, I'll shut the fuck up. lol

Because of your crazy, passionate latino demeanour, your typically fiery temperament. nod

Something like that? lol

I understand... this is why I didn't ask why.

I go throught that still... people do not like me saying that I am Latino. I don't fit the standard, because I should "act differently"... I am not Latino enough, and I don't look "latino".

rolleyes

You should know that I would never want to put any person in a box... especially not someone like you.

But I did think you understood how or why another Latino would react a certain way given a certain situation because of the simliar culture. I only thought you had a better understanding.

It's cool, really. lol

I have gas. I shouldn't drink lemonade mixed with raspberry iced tea but it tastes so good and the weather is perfect for lemonade mixed with raspberry iced tea.

Why does raspberry have a "p" in it? We don't say RASP - BERRY. We say RAZBERRY.

Whoever made up the word raspberry clearly had a speech impediment.

mad Don't I know it. It's so hard to find where I live, but it's the only kind of soap that doesn't make me feel all itchy. I have to get it online when I can for the best price...and that usually takes forever, so I just said screw it and went to the main website.

Lavender castille soad and Almond are great. If you have a GNC or other vitamin store, then they should have it or at least be able to order it for you. I can find it anywhere here. It's popular and runs about 5$ per bar. Kiss My Face is another good line of soaps. You don't want anything that dries your skin or makes you itchy after your bath.

It is indeed. But I don't think the cat is going to live to see tomorrow. She is rapidly declining now, and is very weak. My co-worker told me that she was leaning up against the wall so she could walk around. sad Today she was just laying around sleeping, and I thought maybe she was in a coma. I read online that when cats have kidney failure (which is another illness that this poor cat has), they slip into a coma, and quietly pass. I sat next to her, petting her and softly talking to her, and all of a sudden, she picked her head up. omg I said, "OMG, Anissa, you're awake!" She then acted like she wanted to get up and walk around. Poor thing, even when she's on death's door, she still wants to do the things that she usually does. She's a fighter. I told her, "Don't move, Anissa, just stay where you are and relax". She laid back down again, thankfully. I spent a good 45 minutes with her today before I left work, because I know that she will no longer be alive when I go to work on Sunday. Poor girl, but it's better for her to pass quietly, then it is for her to go on suffering like she has. She has been really, really sick. sigh
