I need to get the view numbers up on this video clip that I uploaded to YouTube last night.

This is my husband's band, he wrote the song, and I art directed the clip

could you give it a spin a few times? I am not sure watching it on an iPhone is counting, but if you are on a desktop take a look (play all the way through). You might even like the song!

You can download a program that automatically refreshes a web page so you could artificially boost the viewcount if those were your intentions.

I'm not completely sure how it would work.

I don't know if you have to view the page for a certain amount of time for it to count as a hit or not.

I'm also unsure if you can register views without playing the video, but I would think so.

Refreshing the page may only count for the initial view because you technically never left the page.

I have refreshed your video at least 20 times while typing this and the count has jumped, so I want to think that it was because of my genius plan.

It's worth a try.

I've been watching the counter and it seems like the view count jumps up at intervals, like there is a lag.

I went from refreshing, to closing the browser, then browser and net, then restarting the computer, but it's still on 88 views.

Spoke too soon. Up to 108. I'm waiting for my mother in law to get home before going out so I'll spend 20 mins doing it.
