"The Dark Knight Rises" (possible spoilers)

I really want to see how Chris Nolan treats the Bane character and if the movie's going to echo the "Knightfall" story of when he broke Batman's back!! According to this report, that's exactly what they're going to do. Hmmm. The third film in most trilogies usually suck. Most recently, Spiderman 3, X-Men 3, The Godfather III, Superman III (yes, I know they're not "recent" but they fit to include in this list), etc.... So, I'm kinda nervous how this is going to come out, because the first two Nolan did were just how the franchise SHOULD'VE been done back in 1989.

Bat-fans have been wondering just how far Tom Hardy's Bane will go in The Dark Knight Rises. (As you know, Bane is infamous in the DC comics for breaking Batman's back.) A new report claims to know just how brutal director Christopher Nolan intends on making things for Bruce Wayne in his final Batman film.

Mind you, IF the following claim is true then consider this a massive SPOILER WARNING.

Still here? OK.

- Warner Bros.
Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

The not always reliable (sorry, guys) Comic Book Movie posted the following that even they said readers should take with a grain of salt:

"Bruce Wayne/Batman & Bane will certainly clash hard in The Dark Knight Rises and I can tell you this much, during their first fight against one-another will Bane WILL break Batman's back!"

In far less dramatic Bat-news, Morgan Freeman tells The Hollywood Reporter that he starts filming his role as Lucius Fox in about three weeks in the U.K. before moving on to Pittsburgh and Los Angeles. Likewise, Batman-on-Film points out a BBC Radio chat where Michael Caine said he starts work as Alfred next week.

Can't wait! And I'm not the least bit concerned about part 3, Nolan certainly knows what he's doing. nod

Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

I certainly hope so. I just don't want this to fall victim to the "third tme" curse. lol Can he improve upon the second one? I don't know. That one was damn near perfection, and the Catwoman character has never been one of my favorites.

It's going to be predictable I think - you'll think Batman is finished and, at the end somebody/something batman like will happen leaving it uncertain

Have faith in Nolan.

It's Batman. You don't have to do that.

The movie ends and Batman endures.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Spider Man 3 didn’t suck it’s really the main comic book franchise that I can watch all the films unlike x-men I prefer the first one the most. And looking forward to this they going to have to really bring it with this film to top the epic ness of Heath Ledger.

Well, let's just put it this way. Spiderman 3 just didn't have the heart and the emotion the other two had. It's almost universally panned as the "worst" of the trilogy. Not to say it absolutely SUCKED (cuz it didn't), but now that it was Sam and Tobey's last hoorah with it, I wish they came with a more singular vision and power in the movie. I have heard that the studio told Raimi to add Venom to the movie, even though he didn't want to. That probably had a lot to do with it.
