Blame our brain-dead owner and his bitch Isiah Thomas for that mess. Walsh didn't even want to make the Carmelo trade, but Dolan pushed it.

Actually the Knicks blew it by hiring Pringles. I don't care what free agents Walsh brings in, Knicks will never get to the next level unless they bring it on defense like Miami and Chicago. That won't happen with the fraud we have coaching our team. I can't stand that fucking asshole D'Amdummy. I wish he'd take his 'sissyball' back to west coast.

It may work during the regular season, but not in the playoffs when it's about getting stops and tough rebounding. Pringles defenders always say the Suns would have won the finals if not for that fight against the Spurs - woulda, coulda, shoulda. Bottom line, they never got it done.

I'm going with Miami in 6!!

That Chicago pick was more heart than common sense.

yeah, I hear you Gray and I can relate. Whether anyone agrees with me or not, I'd like Miami to win simply because I want Chris Bosh to have a championship. I watched him play with the Raptors from day one and I have a bit of a soft spot for him.

I know I'm in the minority but............shrug

Folks expected Bosh to be THE guy on Toronto, but he's not that type. He's more of a complimentary player, which is why Miami is perfect for him.

L4, I'm not a big baseball fan. If any of the NY teams are in the World Series, I may watch out of curiosity. All I care about now is the NFL resolving this nonsense the owners started.

Shaq ranks behind Wilt, Russell, Kareem, Hakeem & Moses Malone. Look up Malone's numbers especially his rebounds - better than Shaq's. Shaq's not a Top 10 player, but definitely Top 20. I thought at times, he got lazy and didn't always keep himself in better shape.

So glad that somebody else, realized this....

It's hard to argue with that list. Center is a harder position to evaluate than it seems, because the eras, rules, and styles of the great centers were across the board.

I say Mikan and Ewing are right behind those guys.

Those teams got their players the old fashion was, through the draft or a major trade. Not three divas joining forces. These players have been discussing this some time before they even got together, like they had planned this.

People bring of other teams from the past like the Lakers, Celtics, ect.

The current Celtics was built from the draft (Pierce, Rondo, Perkins) and majore trades (Allen traded on draft night for Delonte West and picks that would be Jeff Grenn and Baby Davis and Garnett traded for like half the roster.) They also didn't plan to join forces and waited untill years of trying for theor respective franchise the Wolves, Sonics and Celtics. They were also past their playing prime but still above average.

The Bulls was bulit on the draft and trades (the second three peat.) Jordan, Pippen (from a draft day trade for Olden Polyniece ... oops and Horace Grant.) The second three peat started after MJ came from baseball. They picked up Rodman for Will Perdue and cash.

The 80s Lakers was built from the draft and trades. Kareem had been with the Lakers since the mid 70s while Magic was still in high school. Norm Nixon was drafted in 77. Magic was drafted by the Lakers in 79, Worthy in 82, B Scott in 83 and AC Green in 85.

The 80s Celtics was built from the draft and trades. Bird was drafted in 78, Robert Parish came from a trade with the Warriors in exchange for Joe Barry Carrol. Parish wasn't some all-star when they got him, he was an after thought. Carroll was the number 1 pick in that years draft. With him also came a pick that would turn out to be Kevin McHale. DJ came in a trade in 1983.

The late 60s Lakers was built from the draft and trades. Elgin Baylor and Jerry West were dratfted by the franchise in 58 and 60. Wilt came in a trade in 1968 for 3 players and cash.

I'm older then u LBC so I already know how those great teams from the past were put together lol

Who cares how this Heat team came together, fact remains that they are 3 wins away from an NBA title, I'd say they planned things just right!

Exactly. I still don't get what's wrong with grown men making their own career decisions?

They have already said several times that they had discussed teaming up...why is that a problem?

I find it interesting how some forget that Payton and Malone did this very same thing, for the very same reason some years ago. The fact of the matter is, Lebron was NOT going to win a championship where he was, with the players he had. He served his time and he choose to move on.

Malone was in his 19th season, GP his 15th.

Whats the reason for having a draft system if you just gonna play with your friends in the long run? Hell, the NBA is gonna turn into a pick up game. You jut gonna come an run with your squad.

There is basically no loyalty in the game. And down the line, in LeBron want to be considered one of the all-time greats (or as Pippen says "The Greatest") they'll look at this. Remember when a player stayed on the team he was drafted too, and try and bring a title to that city.

Patrick Ewing, Reggie Miller, David Robinson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Stockton and Malone.

And even the few who left in their prime like Barkley, was traded from Phila, he didn't just leave. And they got some players in return. Also, LeBron had won two back to back MVPs and the past two seasons lead the Cav to the best records in the NBA at 66 and 61 games. It's not like he left a team who had missed the playoffs over the years, he left a winner.

This is a NEW ERA Lbc, these players can do what Lebron did now, the players you mentioned couldn't do that twenty years ago. I bet if your team could get three all-stars in they're prime via free agency you'd be cool with that right? I know I'd be lol

The only reason Cleveland was a winner was because of Lebron, which is why the Cavs fans get a pass from me, they have every right to be mad.

It's a new era alright, the Diva era. I seriosly don't think those players back in the day would do the same. They had something called pride. A guy like Larry Bird would never join Magic Johnson, Zeke Thomas, MJ, Barkley, Dr. J. ect. He want to kill those guys. He wanted to beat the best of the best, not play with them.

Bird worked hard every offseason to beat Magic. You wouldn't have to work so hard if Magic and Dr. J was on your team.

You see how hard they used to play back in the 80s? Even the All-Star games, they was goin at it. not like today were it's just show boat, ect.

I don't wanna see Lebron win his first championship. This man betrayed Cleveland to supposedly win a "Championship"

Dallas all the way, cause I used to live there.

If Dallas wins, I'm gonna laugh at Lebron's face lol

NBA Finals, Game 2

Dallas 95 Miami 93

Series tied at 1-1.

Turnabout is fair play in the NBA. After dominating their opponents in the fourth quarter in the last five games, the Heat suddenly get cold in the fourth quarter, allowing the Dallas Mavericks to storm back from a 15 point deficit to make a 22-5 point run to win the game and steal home court advantage away from Miami.

Relying on threes is like fool's gold. I don't know why they went soft and stopped attacking the basket.

For Dallas, get two out of three at home, and they'll be in great shape going back to Miami.
