I've never watched an episode of this show cuz I can't stand Trump. But the crazy factor this season is irresistable so I'll be tuning in. God help us all when Nene and Starruh go at it.

NeNe Leakes (’Celebrity Apprentice’) still not a fan of Star Jones

Trailers of “Celebrity Apprentice” show “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member going after Star Jones like she’s Dwight Eubanks or Kim Zolciak.

“You’ve pressed the last button in me, Star Jones,” Leakes said, pointing her finger in Jones’ direction while the talk-show host looked on stoically. “I will take you down!”

This is, in a sense, vintage NeNe and for Donald Trump, who isn’t familiar with “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” entertainment gold!

During a phone press conference yesterday, Trump could not stop praising NeNe. “I think she’s fantastic,” he said. “I think she’s really smart… She’s really something special.”

When the inevitable NeNe/Omarosa comparisons come up, Trump jokingly cracked that NeNe makes Omarosa “looks like an angel” in comparison.

NeNe is not denying the conflicts she sowed and that she remains at odds with Jones without specifying why they clashed.

“I’m really okay with that,” she said. “I’m not afraid to get in anybody’s face if they push me there, take me there. I was pushed and taken there.”

NeNe hopes people will see different aspects of her on “Celebrity Apprentice.” “On ‘Real Housewives,’ you don’t necessarily see the business side of me,” NeNe said.”You’ll be able to see that on ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ ”

But she noted, “I’ll still be NeNe and keeping it real. I will represent for Atlanta.” She repeats her philosophy of “no phoniness.” Phoniness, she notes, “bothers me. I’m going to call out phoniness when I see it.”

Surprisingly, NeNe said she has a “quiet and shy side.” Indeed, she is pretty laid back during the first episode, which debuts Sunday at 9 p.m. She admits being intimidated at first by Trump. “I’m a tough girl but I was afraid of him,” she said. “I didn’t know if he was going to be real or not. I can say now: he’s very real. I love the fact he’s real and successful. It’s beautiful.”

The very aggressive taping schedules for “Apprentice” have worn out many a celebrity (think Darryl Strawberry). NeNe admitted it was tough. “It was grueling,” she said. “I had just left ‘Housewives’ taping and went straight into this. I was also going through a lot in my personal life [alluding to her pending divorce with Gregg]. It was a hard time for me.”

I tried to sneak in a question about her future on “Real Housewives” but she made it clear she was on this call to talk about “Celebrity Apprentice” only. (”Real Housewives” season four should begin taping in about a month.) When a Rolling Out magazine reporter asked her how this would help her brand, she said, “I hope it takes me to a whole new level.”

“NeNe,” Trump then said, “this will be a big positive. You will be a monster star… you won’t be able to walk down the street!”

The other Atlantan in the crew, rapper Lil Jon, was unavailable for comment. Singing legend Meat Loaf, also on the call, said he “will shock and amaze you.”

“He’s super smart and extremely creative,” NeNe noted.

Trump said the cast (which also includes “Survivor” winner Richard Hatch, singer Mark McGrath, actor Gary Busey, LaToya Jackson, baseball player Jose Conseco and deaf actress Marlee Matlin) was “volatile,” to the point they even called the police once. Who was involved in the fracas that led to the cop call? We’ll have to wait and see.

I haven't watched it much in the past but this is one I will dvr for sure. Like you said, the crazy factor is too much to pass up!

I saw Lil Jon on Wendy yesterday and I have to say his ass may be the sanest one of this bunch.

I have to admit, I am mainly watching for NeNe and Latoya Jackson. I know Latoya's a little off her rocker (trying to be nice) so it will be interesting to see how NeNe reacts to her! I saw an ad for the show with those two and laughed my arse off

I loovveee celebrity apprentice, I always watched it... especially with favs like Holly Robinson, Cyndi Lauper, Dennis Rodman, Sharon Osbourne, etc...

So many fun celebs that you tend to see in a different light and gain new found respect for... but this season looks like its great tv for laughs

That show made people love Bret Micheals BTW... I never would have given a damn about that dude if it wasn't for the show.
