Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

For whatever reason, I always thought Kobe was 6'8".
They're close in a lot of categories, but the ones indicative of defensive skills favor Jordan heavily. Granted, the rebounds aren't split up by offense and defense.

Kobe is a better offensive player - Better shooter, better ball handling skills, & foot work.
Jordan is a great offensive player to. Just not better than Kobe. But he's close.
Jordan is a much better defensive player than Kobe. That's why I give the nod to Jordan, for being a better all around player than Kobe.
But if Kobe wins 2 more rings, it will change things. History shows the only thing matters, is the rings baby!
LAKERS NATION 4LIFE, BAAAAAAAAABEEEEEEEE!!!

If Kobe wins 3 more, Jordan is still better and I'm not even a Jordan fan. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Kobe is a better outside shooter than MJ ever was. But MJ's was a far better post-up player than Kobe is. Remember, MJ used plenty of post-up moves to create high percentage shots.
But all of that aside, Kobe still have time in his career to take down a few of MJ's records.

Damn right, MJ will still be better than Kobe. MJ never had a true center in any of his NBA championship season. Kobe had Shaq for the first 3 runs, then Paul Gasol (a power forward with height of a center & small foward shooting skills!) for the other 2 runs. [Edited 2/21/11 23:26pm]

Wilt Chamberlain averaged 40 + points on Bill Russell. Wilt dominated Russell. Wilt dominated the game and has the stats to show. He was a MONSTER! But Russell gets more credit because he has more rings. Future generation will not see Kobe or MJ play live. They will have to check the record books for stats. Even thats not enough. The rings out shines everthing. Just ask Charles Barkley, Carl Malone, & Dan Marino. This is what drives Kobe. To get more rings than Jordan, because he knows history shows all that counts is the rings. Go ask Russell, Joe Montana, Magic, even Tom Brady.
Soon all shall bow down to the BLACK MAMBA!

Never had a "Center". | |

I've always thought that while acknowledging Bill having more rings, the general consensus amongst fans, writers, etc. was that Wilt was a better player...
Hell even this post seems to favor that notion.

Bill Russell always had better teammates around him more often than Wilt Chamberlain ever did.
