is anyone really bad this yr? my sinsues are hell! so stuffy and painful and my eyes are burning. my eyes have never burned like this and teared up so much. this is day 3 straight really really bad. i think i need to run across the street for some kind of allergy eyedrops to cvs! the zyrtec alone aint working!

I never had allergies in my life until I moved to Dallas. The first two years Claritin/Zyrtec all by itself worked just fine. But then things got MUCH worse and that stuff barely had an impact.

If you are sufffering worse than usual try a neti pot and some "refresh" eye drops. All it is is a salt water solution you run through both sides of your nasal passages.

The first time you use a neti pot it feels like torture, but I use one every day now and I barely need any allergy medicine anymore. ( I have nasacourt for when things get really rough).

All that being said, my allergies are definitely very bad right now as I am having to neti pot twice a day and it's still pretty bad. Tis the season.....

I have allergies year 'round. Doesn't matter if it's spring, summer, fall or winter, I have them. I take Benadryl every four hours now and use a nasal spray, since I have an allergy to animal dander (and I work with animals). I love animals so much, that I'm not going to let my allergies get in the way. As long as I keep taking my meds, I'm fine.

i've tried nose sprays but they were giving me nosebleeds or making it worse. yes i tried everything

Im not sure what i am allergic to. but its usually when my room is a mess or when its like during the spring time.

i use some nettle tea to calm down a bit. i just take some allergy meds.

I never got tested for allergies either, but I know that if I did, I probably would have a list as long as my arm. Dust is definitely an allergen for me too. Whenever I have to empty out the waste container on my vacuum cleaner, I sneeze like crazy.

haha. na i've had allergies for over a decade. i only started the wen when i got it for xmas. if it was you'd think my scalp would be red or something.

i'm allergic to spirit gum the halloween makeup glue for prosthetics . my face was itchy and reddish for a week after i give the joker scar makeup back in 2008

You need to look into getting allergy shots... it will desensitize your system also eat lots of prickly pear cactus (nopales) and the fruit (tuna) its an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant.

It comes in diffeent forms, the juice is pretty good. The meds you are on are also taxing on the liver over time.

Oh, you have a cat? Nevermind, you're gonna stay that way as long as you own a cat, dog, or rabbit.

Add carpeting in the bedroom, and you have a perfect recipe for "stay sick"" .

i've had animals all my life. not allergic to cats and dogs. i do have carpet though and a few stuffed animals

Hve you been tested? Are you sure yoare not allergic to animal dander now?

i don't have insurance. i almost did once. a house is not a home with a pet either way

Me too! I can't never stay away from a pack of tissues.

i think i need to go to the free clinic...this feels like a sinus infection..its just getting worse

I can't use aspirins or similar stuff...salicylic acid is deadly for me, and when I say deadly I mean DEADLY; my lungs nearly collapsed when I was 15...it was painful and horrific...one of the few times I've been to a hospital emergency room...

THAT SUX.i got terrible acid reflux and can't take any painkillers.
