Tonight, LeBron James returns to the city where he first entered the NBA and became a superstar, Cleveland, Ohio. But this time around he returns as one of the biggest pariahs in all sports, as he will suit up for the Miami Heat as they take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fans in Cleveland (or should I say former fans) haven't forgiven LeBron James for his decision to take his talents to South Florida, especially since the Cavaliers with LeBron James represented the city's best chance to win a professional sports title in over 50 years.

But his return to Cleveland is marked with a little bit of schadenfrude, as the Miami Heat, who were expected to run away with the best record in the NBA with the addition of LeBron James and Chris Bosh to a lineup starring Dwayne Wade, are struggling to stay just above the .500 mark with an 11-8 record, which puts them in third place in their division behind the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks.

Now this could just a a growing out phase to work out the kinks before the Miami Heat eventually hit their stride and become the kings of the NBA, but then again their recent struggles could be more symptomatic of the perils of putting too many big name superstars on one team and destroying the team in the process.
