Burglary

I just cant understand why some people think its okay to steal from others. neutral

My little sister has just got home to her Uni house to find it has been broken into and had loads of stuff nicked. They went into her house whilst 2 girls were in their rooms sleeping, kicked her door down and thrown everything around taking her laptop, jewellery and other bits (she doesnt know exactly what as the police wont let her in). The 2 other upstairs rooms got broken into as well, and they think the people oonly left when one of the girls downstairs woke up. She is now down there upset and I feel so helpless not being able to get to her to look after her sad

All I can hope is that they get what is coming to them, karma is a bitch.

that is terrible news, sorry to hear that.

how does that make you feel about having a personal firearm/gun for home protection/safety?

I for one am all for it.

I dont know, I never thought about the idea of having one in the house because its not a common think in the UK tbh. I am just so glad she wasnt home, as she would have gone for them and I dread to think what might of happened then sad

Red

what I don't get is the increase on 'home invasions'. Burglary I get - but home invasions where they just come in and torture and/or kill U. Just happened this weekend to a family not far from me. Shot and killed the mother, shot and wounded the father, tied up the daughter, who managed to escape. Can't even leave your door open on a hot summer's eve anymore.
