I went to the Dentist Today Yes and it was my first visit in 7 years, I need a good hygenist clean (My Ok gums turned out to have Stage 2 and 3 Gum disease) and some old fillings replaced and later on Wisdom teeth removal. Didn't hurt (Part one of the hygenist treatment did though) but cost is some where around $1700 before the Wisdom teeth removal is factored in. Lesson to be learnt, don't put off going to your dentist. Has anyone else been to a dentist lately and have any experiences to relate. And people who havent been for like more than 10 years, y'all should holla. So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time | |

I would get a second opinion. Some Dentists are in it for the money right now and perform more work than necessary. Twice I have gone to the dentist who gave me $2-3000 estimate (out of pocket) and when I got second opinions, different story. I finally found a dentist that was honest and only does what is needed, cost me $120 out of pocket. Unless you trust this person and really needed it. It was 12 years since I went with my little friend valium. Scared of the place.
