Beside the public library with their "one hour time limit at a time", there are no open networks.

At least in Metairie, LA, I have the option of going to an internet cafe and spent only $5 to use their computer overnight if necessary. I have yet to find that kind of an option anywhere in Arkansas.

I know just how you feel. Before I moved, I was able to pick up high speed internet for free with my laptop by apparently bleeding off a nearby neighbor somewhere who's router wasn't password protected. Over here in these apartments though, there are about five or six people that show up in the section where you can connect but all the motherfuckers are password protected.

I only have internet access at work now. I'm sorry, but I just can't afford internet at home unless it's dialup which is too damn slow to see videos. I'm tempted to get it though because I sure as hell miss looking at all those damned dicks.

Not yet. And I need to invent in either a notebook OR a netbook.

But my OS of choice is Linux Mint. I will NOT return full-time to the Microsoft Plantation ever again. I rather sell-out to a used iMac with a played out MacOS before I run back to Microsoft!!!

My payments to Comcast for internet service were just fine until I got laid-off from my temp job. By that time, electricity, food, rent, gas for the car, & car insurance had to come first.

These day Andy, you have to get internet service through DSL or cable. It's the only way to watch videos (especially on YouTube) without any setbacks. And reading world news online is a lot more reliable than watching the news media in our country (USA).
