prayers, warm wishes, good thoughts, all appreciated.

i posted about him a few weeks ago. he just celebrated his 94 th birthday. he had a pace maker put in a few days before his birthday. he was doing just fine. he has more energy and zest for life than most 20 something year olds. apart from his hearing he never had a complaint. he got his pacemaker on a thursday and was out and about on friday. so, it may not be a complete shock to hear of someone 94 having a stroke, but from this guy it kind of is. but yes... 94.

as he hadn't come around for a couple weeks, i knew something was wrong. finally his son told us he's suffered a stroke a couple days after we last saw him. his birthday. he also informed up that more than likely he won't be returning but will keep us updated on his condition. he's still in the hospital, and likely will be have home care.

94 is a long life indeed but the thought of what's to come really sadends us. anyway, people always ask for prayers or warm wishes, so i thought i would to. he really is an amazing person. always makes me put life in perspective. Sundays won't be the same without him.

94?! Wow, he sure made it a long way. Praying he has more time, especially with special people like you in his life
