Oil Rig Explodes in Gulf (2 day 9.2.2010) Okay...what is really going on?
An oil rig has exploded 80 miles off the coast of Louisiana, with 12 people overboard and one missing, the Coast Guard said Thursday morning. Rescue attempts are underway for at least 12 people, Coast Guard spokesman John Edwards told CNN. 13 people were on board the rig total, Edwards said, noting 12 have been accounted for, but one person was missing.

some theories:
this is a terrorist act by what is now known as extreme islamists
this a terrorist act by homegrown terrorist trying to pin the blame on extreme islamists
somebody really hated their job
this is an attempt to poison the water and food supply and force civilian dependency on large corporations. notice the increasing variety of bottled water and canned fish now?
everybody hates america and they're trying to ruin our economy by interfering with our import/export
the oil companies are causing these explosions to gain access to under water gas basins or some newly discovered and highly valuable mineral supply.
