I do not eat fish and seafood. I also do not eat cauliflower, sweet peas, organs, buffalo, head cheese, olive loaf, limburger, durian, or goose eggs.

I was extremely fussy about my food when I was a kid. Really, really bad about it. For example, I couldn't stand the taste & texture of sauteed chicken (which my mother made all of the time) and I gave her so much grief about it that sometimes when she made it she would save a piece of chicken and fry it on the side for me.

Now that I'm older, my taste buds seem to have matured and I'm open to more types of foods. I wouldn't say that I am "adventurous" but I'm open to different types of food (prawns with asian noodles in coconut-lime sauce you say? Sure, I'll give it a try!!!)

...but I still can't stand onions. ill

Oh I have texture issues with ham too. I forgot that one. I can eat a whole spiral cut honeybaked ham but if it is boiled, rubbery or slimey, forget it.

You guys ever have canned ham... Its an ABOMINATION! disbelief

That jelly stuff surrounding it... barf

yeahthat That is some nasty shit! I made the mistake of buying one back in the 80's and I haven't had one since. Threw that shit in the trash!

When I was a kid, I couldn't stand the texture of Jello; shit made me gag someting terrible. Now I love cherry Jello with Cool Whip mixed up in it. Go figure...

The only vegetable I will not eat is brussle sprouts. Nasty lil fuckers. barf

I have a neighbor who will not eat chicken legs because, "I don't eat anything that had feet attached." She's also deathly afraid of "anything that has fur." Weird woman...

Yes I am. I’m not really into ready meals. I like cooked meals but it can cost an arm & a leg to get everything in.

I might be the fussiest person on earth when it comes to food.

I don't eat chicken legs or duck legs because I hate eating what's wrapping bones. I can have fresh carrots but I hate cooked carrots and "carottes vichy" (= carrots cooked with cream) makes me puke. I don't like meat but I'm not a veggie. I care a lot about the origins of what I eat, traceability and stuff. I eat organic most of the time, non organic stuff makes me feel like I'm eating poison.

I hate:

way too spicy food

betroots

oil on salad

sauerkraut

radish

salsifies

olives

pork

wine

snails

frogs legs

tripe

stews

chicken legs

duck legs

oysters

mussels

squid

anchovy

rum baba

sponge cake

sausages

ox tongue

ox heart

oxtail

beef cheek

brisket

fat streaky bacon

jelly

mocha

coffee

The list goes on but I can't remember everything

Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity
