I'm seriously considering writing a book about the hellish experience of dating.

Yes. When I turned 40, I knew I wanted to finally write down some of the major incidents in my life that changed me. Someone once said there are probably 10 MAJOR events that truly changed you as a person. I knew what most of those were. Once I sat down and started typing, I eeked out almost 300 pages in about five weeks. I was a mad man with it, working on it almost 24/7. And those 300 pages weren't 8.5x11. I had set the margins in Word to reflect the same page size as a standard hardback book. That way I knew exactly where I was with the whole thing. Books are usually around 300 pages, and I didn't want to go over that and pull a Clinton by pumping out 500 pages or something. I was only writing about the first 30 years of my life anyway, so it didn't need anymore than that.

I've been writing for over 10 years. I hope to publish something when I'm in my late 30's/early 40's maybe when I've lived a little more.

I have thought about it time to time. I'd like to but it seems like too much damn work. Life is busy. I decided to stick to blogging

I kept a diary hardcore between the ages of 21 and 26, but I don't do it anymore. I have also written a MA Thesis about the archaeology of a 1850s whaling store site in the Bay of Islands (New Zealand), a hilarious fan book of Prince and my latest project is my family tree, at the moment I am looking at the pattern of cancer in my long distant maternal ancestors. I also write a newsletter for a stamp club I am in, this is all banal, but I get to express my opinions about certain issues in the stamp world and this has gathered me some fans, and the eternal disgust of NZ Post.

So I like to write.

So what are u going 2 do? R u just gonna sit there and watch? I'm not gonna stop until the war is over. Its gonna take a long time
