Neither?

If I had my druthers, I'd probably stay up 'til around midnight and get up around 8. Not too early. Not too late.

so are you a day or night person?

Night night night. I have always hated and struggled with waking up in the morning. It's surprising I wasn't tardy for school. My brother is a morning person; when we were little he'd wake me up at 6am on xmas because my parents wouldn't let him open presents until I got up. I was like, leave me alone, it's too early. I never cared about getting up on Saturdays to watch the morning cartoons, either. If I had my way I'd go to bed around 1am or 2am and get up between 10am or 11am.

do you have any waking up routine( things you do to wake you up at what ever time you get up.. like coffee, energy drink, reading paper ect.? )

My morning routine is: setting my two alarms at least 30 minutes earlier than the absolute latest I need to get up. Pushing snooze repeatedly when they go off until it's 10-15 later than it should be. Rushing to get ready for work and get there on time (barely). Crack open a diet Coke at my desk. I also don't want to talk to anyone in the morning -- until around 12pm or so. If you are a perky morning person, do not try to engage me unless you want trouble! lol

this post hot off the heels of "I actually prefer leave it" on the hugging thread makes you seem, like, unapproachable.

Perhaps you should clarify just what your reaction would be? To a hug, to a perky morning person, or to a perky morning person giving you a hug.

I would probably tense up and put my hands to keep you from hugging me and say, "I'm not really a hug-type of person."

I'm not really that approachable, I'm sort of an introvert. I'm not very good at meeting new people, when I go out I prefer to just talk to my friends.

I didn't say I would be hugging you! I'm sure as hell not a perky morning person.

Night owl, fer sure. I'm at my best if I can go to bed around 4 am and wake up at 11 am.

Morning people have something wrong with them.

If there is still dew on the ground, Im in bed.

The only time I'll be up at dawn is if I'm STILL awake from the night before.

I feel the same way I do not want anyone to talk to me in the morning and there is nothing more that pisses me off than a chipper person just grilling me in the morning all peppy (i loath you cause i wish I felt like that when i get up stop rubbing it in lol) and yes I need severe caffeine in the morning! lol

I can go either way. I have to get up early for work, so I try to make myself go to bed by 11 but without that motivation I'd be up till 1 or 2 every night. I wake up at 6 am though with or without an alarm clock.

both, depending on how much sleep i've had lately. shrug most mornings i'm up at 6-6:30ish, get ready, go to work, panic briefly over my email or whatever the crisis of the day is, then get coffee and feel better. lol

It's 12:45 PM.

Chris and the kids have been up for five hours, doing work from home and household chores, respectively.

Morning. I don't feel good about myself if I am still in bed past midday. I generally like the morning as I see it as a start of a brand, new day.

Night owl, hoot hoot. I always get up at like 10 or 11 in the weekend and never go to bed before midnight, sometimes 2am. My partner and I hate having to get out of bed at 7am in the weekdays. We rise but don't shine.
Honestly if God wanted us to pop out of bed in the morning, we would sleep in toasters.
