I mean, regional dish?



In Florida, I would have to say the barbeque in the local area. I'm sorry, but it's the best I've had in the nation and I've been many places in the nation. None beat the delicious barbeque in the backroads of redneck Florida. And the black folks do it better than the white folks (totally not being racial here, but it's true. Everybody in Florida knows it, just like Cuban shop owners equals better coffee in Florida).


Here in Bangkok, I would have to say my favorite is the Papaya Salad, which is convenient of me since I'm asked weekly if I love it by the locals.

At my home usually served with Westfjords bread - with butter on top.


When serving this dish around Easter or Christmas, it's tradition to drink a mixture of Malt-extrakt (non-alcoholic brown ale - very distinctive) and Egils orange soda. Nowadays you can get the two drinks together in one can:
