I don't want to be debbie downer, but I know a guy who has esophagal(sp) cancer - and the dumb part is HE IS A DOCTOR?!?! and he never treated it seriously had reflux for years, then it started to get better, which is when it's too late, your lining has thickened and hardened and you just can't feel the pain any more.
