Saying "quarter of a century" feels so much older than saying" twenty five".

I said the same thing when I turned 25. And truthfuly, that age was emotionally harder to turn than 30 was. It's when that whole "I'm a grown up" thing really starts to kick in. And it's depressing. I guess the whole depressing part for me was thinking about how little I'd really done with my life, or at least feeling like I could have done more. And I thought of all the missed opportunities. But eventually I got past it when I realized 25 is still young.

nod I'm feeling that already, for sure.

I'm at that weird point where a lot of my friends are starting families and developing real jobs and I only just (last Thursday, actually) got a job that I wouldn't be embarassed to stay at or tell people about, and I'm still more apt to watch cartoons for fun than go out for coffee or drinks. But still, it is starting to hit me that I'm actually an adult now.

I get that a lot online. In the real world everyone assumes I'm 15, but online folk tend to be surprised I was only a mid-80's baby. lol

As of last Thursday I am now an order filler for a wholesale company. The pay isn't fantastic, but I get 50% medical coverage, transit passes bought by the company for me, and there's plenty of room for advancement. thumbs up!
