Seriously though, I can't think of any,,,,most of my FAVE movies don't have sequels.

Godfather and Home Alone (1 and 2). Those are the only ones I can think of that didn't disappoint me.

Exorcist I/Exorcist II

You are the first person in over 30 years that I have ever seen saying they thought The Exorcist 2 was a good sequel! Probably since it's release in 1977.

yeah Exorcist 2 was really bad

I've seen it on cable many times and even though it was kind of difficult to follow in terms of whether the demon in that african boy was the same one that came back for that raven chick...it was still spooky as all hell.

Here's another...

The Omen/ The Omen II

Does anybody even understand Matrix Revolutions? Did Neo die or did his essence survive? If Smith 1 died then did his copies die as well? What happen to that little computer program girl's parents? how the heck did computer programs make a baby? Gawd that shit was bloody awful.

I would have to agree. And I was a huge fan of The Exorcist, read the book twice before the movie even came out. But each of the sequels was a major waste of film, IMHO. A real Snooze-Fest, lol.

Once again, we have the same taste!

I even thought Godfather II outdid the first one... and DeNiro as the young Vito Corleone was perfect.

...and here's where I get obscure.

One of the best sequels I've ever seen is also one of my favorite movies...

'Blue In The Face' was sequel to 'Smoke'... almost entirely unrelated, except Harvey Keitel plays the same character at the same Cigar shop in Brooklyn.

SEE THIS MOVIE if U haven't.
