Have you ever had a (psychic) reading?

So I just went to have my second reading ever last week... The lady just blew me away. Everything that she said I could look back and recall and she told me some pretty positive things about my future... I wore nothing to give her clues and I kept a very straight face (it was just amazing what she picked up from me) So what I'm asking you guys is have you ever had a reading by a psychic/medium? Was it accurate? If you want tell me a little bit about it.... Do you believe people can see your aura/future/past? Was it a good experience or bad?

I've never went to a "psychic".
I do read Tarot, and people have been amazed.
Although I can see someone's aura, I don't find it to have much bearing on a reading.

I never believed John Edward, simply because anyone can do what he does. Watch:

Someone on the ORG... lost someone recently... a family member... I'm seeing a woman... an older woman... she was blonde... NO!, brunette... an older brunette woman who was very dear to them...

... and then you always have some moron stand up and scream, "MY MOTHER! YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT MY MOTHER!" for such generalized statements.

John Edwards... pfft... brick

I enjoy the tarot & have been using them lil by lil for myself. I do have a friend who I don't like calling "psychic," but she sees & knows things about others & herself both good & bad. It's a gift & a curse & something I am glad I do not have because I can't imagine carrying that sort of burden with me. When she had first met a good friend of mine, he was in a bad place emotionally & she brought up things that not many people knew about. It was a trip because she had never met him until then & was telling him his life story. I don't like to know about myself so I never ask. I'm afraid of what she may tell me. She never asks for money and just kinda blurts things out when she has been drinking since she doesn't have a steady control of it then. I trust her though because what she's said has come true & she doesn't advertise herself. I do enjoy going to another friend for tarot readings though. Even if it's bad, it won't be so specific & detailed. I guess less scary for me.

Yes.

The woman was gifted at making some good guesses based on appearance and body language would tell her if she was moving in the right direction. She was quite accurate about my past (for as vague as it was), but not a thing she foretold about my future came true.

I think readings like that can be fun and good for self reflection if you like that kinda thing, so it has entertainment value, but I don’t believe in psychic abilities, etc.

Honey

I sat down at his table, he looked at me, puffed on a cigar, then blew the smoke onto a crystal ball. After he looked into it for a moment he told me that a monkey would be a good pet for my daughter...

I said thank you and left right then. My daughter had been begging her Dad and me for one of those little monkeys (forgot the name). I got out because he scared me. I believe because I can't explain how he knew about that.

We never got the monkey though. sad

Yes. I spoke with one because I was unhappy with my ex fiance.

She told me he had doubts about getting married.(true) And to spice up the relationship I should picture Prince's head on his body. eek

I asked her if he wasnt the one for me who is and what does he look like.
She said she couldnt see his face only his lower half. She said he has great legs and a nice laugh. She pictured him laughing in a yard holding a garden hose. shrug

It's all nonsense, and based in something I do NOT wish to be a part of. That includes tea leaves, tarot cards, etc. Dangerous stuff.

No. But my former boss was an astrologer and tarot card reader. So she did my chart and read my cards.

The only time anyone ever did an accurate reading for me was in college, when the mother of someone in my dorm came in and gave free readings to anyone who wanted it. She accurately predicted things that would happen a couple years down the road for me.

I'd never go visit a psychic on my own, but I've done it a couple times with friends as a lark--but never for very much money. It's a goof.
