By coincidence I have just finished reading the book "Dalek I loved you" by Nick Griffith and he talks about both these stories too. Have you seen Talons of Weng Chiang on DVD?? I haven't, but Im thinking of getting it to see if it's still scary after all these years. Yeah it's a great DVD. I'm about 6 months behind with them, because I can now pick up one a month for about a third of the price from www.zavvi.com saves me a fortune Erik blah blah blah

I hate the name Zavvi, I can't believe some marketing guy got paid a fortune to come up with the name. The good news is that even though I live far from the UK, they will deliver to me for £2.35, which is still much cheaper than buying the DVDs here. I am already for the new series, I got a crack for the bbc iplayer, and getting hyped now. But still its not the same watching it on my computer anytime I want, nothing beats that Saturday evening feeling when you settle down to watch the good Dr before heading out for the evening. My name is Naz!!! and I have a windmill where my brain is supposed to be.....

I have been back in New Zealand for almost a year, BBC is one of the things I miss most. I'd like to join a local fan club, but thats like admitting you have a problem, isn't it! Slight update for you all. It's definitely looking like the series will start on the traditional Easter Saturday slot, no time has been announced yet. But it's now looking like the first episode - The Eleventh Hour is now going to run to 65 minutes
No info on whether this will be edited for the US premiere a couple of weeks later. Aaannnddd.... Series 6 has been given the green light already and pre production starts in July! whoop whoop! Erik blah blah blah

Here we go Australia!
ABC Television in Australia have announced that the new series of Doctor Who is to be made available on their online iView service, a couple of days before broadcast on television. Director of Television Kim Dalton said: iView is an additional way for Australian audiences to watch ABC TV's content generally after, but in this special case before, its television broadcast. We hope the lure of Doctor Who will provide incentive for more viewers to discover iView. Previous series of Doctor Who were available on the iview service, becoming its highest rated programme last year with some 378000 views between April and December. TV Tonight blog reports The Eleventh Hour will make its Australian debut on the ABC on Sunday 18 April 2010 on ABC1 at 7.30pm. It will be available on the iview service from 12am on Saturday 17 April 2010. blah blah blah

Is she credited? no, she didn't have to be as it was apparently royalty free. It's been discussed here and on housequake before. If you google 'delia Derbyshire clouds lovesexy' it should come up. Her soundscapes are timeless (which is fitting!) the original Who theme is so creepy and different and parts of it were still used when the show returned in 2005. blah blah blah

Good, so he should look odd and quirky. The Doctor is an alien from another time and another planet... He shouldn't be a pretty boy if you ask me!
