SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police conducting a welfare check Friday at a City Heights apartment found two bodies. Officers found the bodies about 4 p.m. in the apartment in the 3900 block of Wilson Avenue, said SDPD Officer Brad Ruff. Police said it was too early to speculate if it was a possible murder-suicide or double homicide. A gun was found in the apartment, police said.
Neighbor Jennifer Verdoni, who lives in the building next door, said she heard what sounded like possible gunshots a few nights ago, but dismissed it as nothing. Homicide detectives are investigating. weird way this all occured...
i logged on to face book and i noticed that Eric had changed his profile picture, so i clicked on his profile and one of his coworkers had been posting all day about how she was worried and the last one was she was calling the police. than my friend, Aaron, posted the first news story. i called him and asked if he knew if it was Eric or not, and he said no but he'd call his connections at the police department. thank i called another friend and he said yes it was Eric.... it's been weird... very very very weird. Something kind of similar happened where I live. There used to be a real nice guy who lived downstairs in my building who was diabetic. They found him dead in his apartment one day. Apparently, he went into a diabetic coma, and wound up passing away. I could hardly believe when I heard it, because I had just seen and had talked to him about a week earlier.  RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you. | |
