I had a dream my brother died.

A really vivid dream where he just died of a heart attack.
I was crying in my dream because I was with him and I was trying to bring him round but it was too late,he was gone.
But the weird thing was that I woke up and I really had been crying eek
My face was wet and so was my pillow.
This has actually happened to me a couple of times and im just wondering if anyone else has experienced it?

Yes. When my grandmother came to visit me in my dream, it was vivid as well just like real life and in the dream I was hysterical because I missed her so much. When I woke up my face was all wet with tears. She was already passed though.

I'm a twin in a sideways kind of way. I'm Pisces: The Twin Fish. My middle name is Thomas and the literal translation is Twin.

I've woke up laughing, and/or crying, depending on the dream. Most times I know it's a dream, and I can wake myself up if needed. I can maneuver within the dream, but I cannot create new things. Like, if I'm in the desert with a dog, I can't just put myself in a swimming pool. But I KNOW that it's a dream, and sometimes I chose to explore it. The dreams where I wake up crying or laughing aren't always ones I can control. I'm aware it's a dream, most times, but for some reason I'm limited in my capabilities to maneuver in the dream.

Of course, I also have dreams that end up happening in real life, so.....that's another thread.

From 2 seperate eggs.My mother is a twin also.
To be honest my twin brother and I arent as close as other twins are.
I know we love each other but we don't phone each other up everyday to talk,I can go a month without hearing from him and vice versa. boxed

In Islam, it is believed that when you dream about somebody "dying", usually it means that he'll live longer than you in real life.

Don't ask for an explanation for it though, because I don't have any lol

I sometimes wake up wet, but that's another story.

Seriously though, it's never happened to me. I have weird dreams, but never really emotional dreams...

You obviously love your brother very much.

death in a dream can also mean a new beginning for that person or for you or both. we associate it with sadness, but it can also be the ending of a chapter and new possibilities will arise.

Wow. Sorry to hear that. It's happened to me a couple of times. It's hard because at the time that it's going on, it feels so real.

Maybe you should call your brother just to say hi. Or maybe he's going through a rough time with something.

thanks for all your concern folks I saw my brother yesterday and he is alive and kicking.
I could never tell him about my dream cos he would just take the piss out of me smile
It was't really the dream that i was really making a point about though,it was the fact that I was crying in my dream and when I woke up i had been crying.
Maybe when our tear ducts need an empty we cry, just like wet dreams.

yes, I had a dream once that my brother died....the dream was not specific as to how he died..it was just that he was dead....and I was devastated, I'll never forget the feeling in the dream of how crushed I was.
it was the only time I ever dreamed that thank goodness....and it was years ago and he's just fine still so....thankfully it was just a weird dream, as I'm sure yours is too.

Well, I was told by a Venezuelan person that when one dreams of a person dying, it means they will live a long life.

Hope you feel better. comfort

I had a weird dream the other night. I was stood with people I knew, in a field at night. We were moving mud with our hands and building a hill with the mud. I remember smoothing the mud with my palms, like it was a giant clay pot on a wheel.

It was very vivid - yet boring.

that's really sad, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to happen. What I think it can mean is that the person needs your prayers or you need to pay attention to them for something going on in their lives. I had a dream the other day one of my uncles passed and I didn't know where it came from, but I prayed for the family cause maybe it was a sign they needed a prayer for something else unrelated.
